Played there on Sunday 10/18/15. First time to play there and if they dont improve the pace of play it will be my last. On hole 6 we had 3 groups on the tee waiting to play. I called the pro shop and ask them to send out a ranger. Never saw any show up. By the time we were on 12 there were 4 groups waiting on the tee, again called pro shop and they said they would send out a marsh Still no ranger showed. We ended up with a 5hr 45min round of golf. There is no reason for that type of pace of play. The other issue is that the greens were not rolled and had a lot of ball marks that arent fixed / repaired. The sand traps are very inconsistent in amount of sand and quality of sand. Some very fluffy and some hard pans. Also the grill on a Sunday had only one girl working, they ran out of hot dogs, iced tea and gatorade.

This course is well maintained with very healthy grass and greens. (For some reason, however, the greens a littered with a higher than average number of ball marks.) The fairways are relatively wide and there are no doglegs that I can remember, so it is a good course for straightforward golf with no surprises. You wont lose many balls, but from the back tees you will be challenged by the length. The pathway through a housing development is not my favorite design. Overall, the course design is a bit uninspired, but it is very well maintained. I suspect most people will have a good golf experience here.

We usually love playing here but a couple weeks back we went expecting our normal fun round. We paid our fees [normal prices] only to get out on the coarse and realize that every fairway had been airaited. Not just small poke holes either I mean every 4 inches there was a huge chunk of dirt sticking up. It was awful. I understand these things are needed but for us to pay full price and not even be made aware of it was not good. Not to mention the guy at the counter was quite rude.

Really friendly staff. The course was busy the day we went, but the staff did a wonderful job getting us out and keeping everyone on pace. I have to say as well, that the greens were great. I have played so many local courses with bumpy and horribly managed greens I forgot what it was like for my ball to actual travel the path I wanted it to. Now I just need to work on picking paths that actually lead to the cup.

Played as a twosome and was stuck behind a fivesome that would not let anyone play thru. So it took 4 hours to play a 3 hour round of golf. Course marshalls drove by several times and waved but offered no help and they never suggested to the fivesome that they consider letting faster groups behind them play thru. I wonder why they have Marshalls on the course. Does anyone know golf etiquette?

Played the course for the first time over the weekend. It has good practice facilities and the fairways and greens were in great shape. The pro shop attendant was very friendly. The course isnt overly difficult but water and sand traps come into play on the majority of holes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cheap game of golf in the area.

If you like to hit the long ball, this is the course for you. This course plays fairly quickly at 3.5 hrs. for a twosome. The staff is very friendly and their are always retired guys in the club house looking to join a group. There is plenty of water & sand presenting a good challenge. Greens are great! Ill be playing here for years to come

For the money, this is one of the best bargains in the DFW area. The greens are in fact "green", true, and well maintained. The Marshalls do a good job of keeping a good pace of play. The pro shop and club house are small but this course was not built with that in mind. If you like the hit the ball long, this is the course for you.

Course in poor shape looks over played. Cart stalled 5 times on front side, asked cart girl to call clubhouse to get another cart, nobody showed up (she probably didnt get an answer either). Changed cart at turn other cart had flat tire on 14 called clubhouse several times, no answer, walked last 5 holes.

We play waterview virtually every saturday morning yearound. Only Saturdays we do not play is when there are no players club specials. Not playing at WV next Saturday as no specials found. I find this very disappointing since we pay the monthly fee and no specials

Our 1st choice was closed due to flooding and this turned out to be a great course. Fair prices, friendly Marshalls, pro desk was great and the course was well taken care of. I look forward to another round here.

In the afternoon it really doesnt get much better for value. My son and I played for $31 the other day and got in 17 holes before dark. Well maintained, some interesting holes, greens are always in good shape.

Simple and enjoyable course..only bend grass in the dfw area..so the ball rolls true..always great to play afternoon rounds..much better now they change the 9s..plays much faster starting on what was the back.

One of my favorite golf courses in the DFW area. The course is well kept and the staff is great! Not to mention the chipping area, range, and putting practice areas are perfect. Cant wait to go back !

You cant beat the price and the greens are exceptional for a municipal. It is very forgiving but the fairways are very long. If you like to hit your driver, you found the right course!

Great public course for the price. The greens are in good condition. I love the Players Club which is unlimited range balls, free par 3, and low green frees which include the cart.

Beautiful community! The homes in this area are gorgeous and everything is well kept! The only negative thing I have to say is the city dump is near and it stinks!!

Course is good. I do not appreciate management having a tournament then plugging in new golfers starting on the back nine. 5+ hours. BS.
