While I liked the layout of the course, the staff (with a couple exceptions) were awful. When we arrived, no carts were available. At fifteen minutes before our round, we were given a cart (which we had to clean out ourselves). This cart died before we reached the first hole. We received a second cart that lasted until the 13th hole. We called the clubhouse who said they would send someone with a replacement cart. No one ever came. The other twosome in our group thankfully used their cart to push ours up the hills it would no longer climb so we could finish the round. After we finished (comically being pushed up to the shop) the guy working didnt seem concerned. He eventually offered one weekday round (there were two of us in the cart). After some argueing, he begrudgingly hand wrote on a sheet of paper that we could have a weekend round (since that was when we actually played and live an hour away). I wont be back.

Horrible Experience - Golf course that averages 6 1/2 hours for a round of golf. When to play 18 at this course with a friend from out of state. When I pulled up I notice about 100 players in carts out front getting ready to start a tournament. I was a little worried about this until Gordan Couch, the rep at the pro shop, informed me that the tournament would not affect use and that the pace of play would be like any normal Saturday. Well it was anything put normal pace of play with 6 people deep on every hole through the back 9. We left at just a few holes on the back 9 to go inform Gordan of the displeasure. To my surprise this so called golf professional "Gordan" did nothing but argue with us to the point where we will never visit another American Golf Corporation Course. I wish that Jim Hinckley - CEO of AGC knew what type of people he had running his courses.

Interesting layout and challenging design, but a terrible experience. This course is beautiful and one of the best public courses in the DFW area. However, I was forced to step away from my ball after addressing on several occasion. This was due to local non-golfing residents driving their personal golf carts on the course and using the cart path as a dog walking and jogging trail. This may be acceptable to some golfers but I found the frequent delays, due to waiting for non-golfers to be out of harms way, frustrating and annoying. One resident went so far as to scold me for addressing my ball as he drove his golf cart the wrong way up the cart path. I will not be playing here in the future, which is a shame because it is a great course

Ive played BC twice in the past two months after being out of the area for 8 years. BC used to be a premium course with good service and a very well maintained course. Now, the customer service is only adequate, but more importantly the course was not in great shape. Greens were spotty and the bunkers were in terrible shape. The pace of play was horrible also over five hours for each round. no marshals and starter. One time we ended up playing the front twice because when we made the turn there were three groups on the 10th waiting to tee off (two groups decided to start on 10) I dont think Ill be back which is a shame because I live close to the course.

Good golf course that is in excellent condition. Sadly, American Golf manages it, and I use that term loosely. Worst run golf course I have experienced in 40 years!Pace of play early on a Friday morning of 6 hours is UNACCEPTABLE! I spoke with the "Ambassador", which is a nice title for a guy that only cares about his FREE GOLF! He actually told me that they ARE NOT ALLOWED to talk to slow players and encourage them to speed up! Companies like this are the cause of the steady decline of this great game!

Great course, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! 5....yes FIVE groups on hole 2....then 3, then 4...Im sitting on the tee box on number 8 writing this review and theres a group on the green and one in front of us waiting to hit. ALWAYS slow here...and the pro shop doesnt care. The Marshall says "its just slow." And to top it off, the cart girl didnt even have Gatorade. What a joke, a 6 1/2 hour round. Wont be back again.

Golfer and resident... I love this course.. Although it as had some difficulty with the customer service part of its establishment, it is in the past and is striving for your day to be challenging and well as a pleasant experience. Please come try us again.. Throwaway Ponies Annual Charity tournament is coming up May 17, 2015..

Horrible management. Im giving them two stars because I enjoy the course. Ive been here twice with corporate events in front that take 6-7 hours. The front desk never informs us when they schedule a corporate event in front of the public. Wont be back!

Played last week, greens are gone, mostly dirt. No beverage cart on course, water stations are few...with it being 100 degrees and up, it was not an enjoyable round. They need to let customers know that youll be putting on dirt before you pay.

Best layout in Dallas. From the tips, one of the hardest and longest courses in DFW. Greens are big and fast. Great range and practice area as well. Usually not crowded, but may want to call ahead and make sure there is no tournament.

Loved the layout of the course. Great design and fantastic homes around it. Bunkers were completely unplayable and the greens were in rough shape... We gave up on #16 because of the slow pace of play and left.

Great little neighborhood golf course. I just drive the cart, but hubby and friends play weekly. Players club lets them get discounts and free balls for the range. Lovely place to play.

Great course. 4 stars because sometimes the range is closed for odd reasons and they jacked up prices recently and we cant figure out if anything improved.

Very nice golf course. They could have a little better signage for the first time players. However, its one of my favorite places to play.

Some challenging holes. Overall a pretty simple course that is in average condition, but for the price its a great deal.
