This was the worst experience of my daughters (the brides life) a memory ruined forever. On the week prior to the event a miscommunication (not on my daughters part) but by the event planner about a walk through but because of the rain the golf course was closed. This brings us to August 28th the day of my daughters wedding. We got there at 8:00 met by someone else I believe was Beverly who absolutely was amazing. We got all set up the wedding was to start at 1pm the wedding started at 1:20. At 1pm James who i am guessing is a GM or owner or whatever ran up the stairs when questioned he said he had to do something that would take a minute. He was up there for 20 when he proceed to come down the stairs i told him to stop for a few my daughter was walking down the stairs her wedding was starting. He passed me and proceeded down the stairs my daughter asked him what he was doing that she was walking down the isle could he not hear the music that she was getting married to get out and he gave her a nasty look and went down the stairs this will forever be in her video there is no editing this part out. When James and Dana were confronted he stated he had permission to go up there from the videographer which is an employee of mine James was informed several times that the wedding was going on and he had no regard for this. His manners are rude to say the least I asked him when confronted what are you going to do to make this right you never apologized you didnt do anything he stated i was going to talk to the mom I am the mom. I informed him of this I informed him that we would be filing suit he said you cant get blood from a turnip. At which time Dana came back over to the venue after the bride and groom left to get details and than called the bride on her wedding day on her way to her honeymoon and said if you have video proof I will refund you the money of the venue. Which I am in the process of getting this from our photographer. However, there is no fixing this. There is no redo for the video. Forever this man will be in my daughters video. The grounds are unkept, there was a keg by the front door, golf course batteries where there is a area that should have flowers. This was a convenient location for all and if the venue wouldnt have been paid for in advance we would have just canceled after the no show to do the walk through. Very unhappy . The bride is upset. The video ruined. I wouldnt want another to go through this. The venue is pretty. The staff is less than professional to say the least. The only one I can give props to for trying is Beverly. Dana stated that if she received the video of me showing him to stop that she would refund the money now she is saying do not contact her. That the issue is resolved he had permission to be there from the videographer who is an employee of mine he saw her in her wedding dress standing there and pushed past me after i said to wait and my daughter in her wedding video is telling him to move. There premises are awful and yellow, batteries are laying every where , with a keg at the front door. They are less than professional to help but want to complain when we opened a door to unload our things. We were told to get off the property offered no apologizes from this man who is an employee and we left early because he is rude to say the least. I have video that will be used in court. You dont ruin a brides video and blame the bride he shouldnt have been there and if you go to the site those are not what is there today. I guess you get what you paid for.

This used to be a pretty fun little track. Its up for sale and the bank that owns it is putting no money in it. Ive been playing for over 3 decades and have never seen a course in such bad shape. DO NOT waste your money. Half of the flags were torn up so bad you cant see them. There is no fairway or rough, just a big field of weeds. All of the bunkers are over grown and unplayable. The greens are dead with weeds growing in them. Unputtable. It was just like the course closed down and I snuck on after a month a played it. Theyre not even watering it. When I got there, the young lady was very rude and they had no carts available. I brought my daughter with me to try and introduce her to the game and they charged me a $5.00 ride along fee. Ive never heard of that. This is an insult to golf. Just close it down and let the new owner re-do it.

Great golf course with GREAT staff! The fairways need help, but current management has shown that they are working at bringing this course back to snuff by rebuilding all of the greens. They are in great shape. If they show the same kind of commitment to the fairways then this will end up being a great course in an area of the metroplex that could use a few more courses. My wife and I play regularly and while we pick, clean and place for balls in the fairway (or even out of the fairway if they find a crack), we enjoy the course and the current price cant be beat. I hope they will continue their efforts to bring this course back.

Went today and was amazingly surprised, we usually go just call it practice rounds. But today the course was soooo much better, if they keep working on it like this they will really have a good course. The greens are in great shape. Tee boxes were better today just a couple of the womens tee boxes was off. Fairways I think with a little more work will be good. Please keep up the hard work in making this a good course. Also really need to work on bunkers as they are now no way you can play them

As with a lot of golf courses in Texas this one was hit hard by the drought and heat in summer of 2011. As of Dec 12th they have brought the greens back and are in very good condition. Fairways are still rough but the cracks caused by the drought have closed and they run pretty well. The championship layout is exceptional. Lot of creeks and ponds. Bunkers are in good shape. Tees are still a bit uneven but ok. I expect this will become my favorite course in the area by spring.

For the price, location, staff and course itself you cant beat it. It has a nice layout that will definitely challenge the normal golfer. There were some cracks in the fairway but that is too be expected with the Texas heat and drought. Greens were in great shape, some of the best Ive seen for putting. I played there about a year ago and Im going back again this weekend.

Not sure about the previous reviews, sounds like current staff. This course is the worst. Staff are nice. Owner is rude and looks like he is on something. Course is not well maintained. Weeds everywhere and it looks like they dont own a weed eater. This place needs help. Wish the city still maintained it.
