I gave it 4 stars due to the atmosphere. As previous people stated - its not a 5 star course by any means. If youre a beginner and want to learn golf, this is a great place to do it. I would call myself a skilled golfer and still had a lot of fun here. The Manager/Owner is a great guy and was extremely friendly with me when I played it - just a traveler passing through and still cared to get to know me. Like I said, dont come here if youre expecting lightning greens, come here to relax and enjoy some golf. Would recommend if you enjoy golf at a good price and a unique atmosphere.

This place is trash at best. I have played golf along time. This has to be the worst course I have ever played. Cow pasture with horrible greens. Only could manage to play 9 holes. They charge WAY to much for this field. They charged me for cart fees for me and my son. Which is standard. However they charged me for my 4 year old son a green fee. He doesnt even have any clubs. Save your gas and money. Do no play here.

Dont even care to play golf here because its never taken care of like the courses Im used to playing. THE MANAGER/OWNER TELLS YOU TO "COME ON OUT AND PLAY." THEN, CLOSES DOWN AND HIDES OR TREATS YOU LIKE HE DONT EVEN WANT YOU THERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The course is fairly wide open and you will not find a lot of trouble. The greens are not in great shape right now but they are consistent from one to the next. The course has a lot of potential but needs more work.

Your basically playing in a goat pasture which is fine for me because Im terrible at golf. The people are friendly and for being in Red Oak TX you cant ask for much more. BYOB.
