Frisco Lakes is a really good test of golf. The layout flows nicely and the holes are fair. The fairways are pretty wide and forgiving. No bad bounces or tricked up areas. The greens are generously sized. Fun to putt. Some of the holes are really scenic with good slope and undulations. Views of Lake Lewisville come into play on the back nine. Had an issue with the pro shop attendant recently. Walked up as a single and was told that no openings were available for hour. Over the next 30 minutes while waiting on the practice putting green, I noticed 2 separate twosomes and also a threesome go off the first tee. Hmmmm, oh well, guess they had a few no-shows. No worries, will be back to play.

I came to the course to hit some balls and see if the hand I injured was healed enough to play. I hit one ball and immediately knew it was a mistake. I took the $10 bucket back to the shop and told them I couldnt hit them. I asked if he could refund my money. I was told he could not refund the $10. I was really surprised and didnt argue with the kid in the shop. Im not upset about the $10 but couldnt believe they wouldnt refund the money just based on principle. I will never go back, which is unfortunate because I just moved right by the course. Customer service is severely lacking!!

Absolutely beautiful country club! If you play golf great, otherwise it is also suited for those that dont. The beautiful young lady, I believe her name is Chelsey, that was tending the lounge area, not only had a smile on her face at all times and it wasnt one of those grin and bare it smiles it was hey Im here to make your time here enjoyable and if theres anything u need let me know and Im on it. Truly she adds to the already gorgeous ambience of this beautiful club! Certainly highly recommend Frisco Lake Golf Club!!

Good course. Great shape. Retirement community so fairways were very generous and no real rough to speak of. Greens a little slow but beautiful and large. Staff was great. Play moved along for us pretty well, 4 hours. If your looking for a difficult challenge this is not the one, but lots of fun. Can find deals for low prices.

Course is in very good shape. Need the Marshalls out more to enforce pace of play, especially late in the afternoon. Last time I was there they wanted the carts in by 8, even though the sun was up until 8:45. That had never been the case before. Check golf now for the best prices.

Very poor management, $63 for green fee and NO GPS. They didnt even have enough carts for everyone on the course. Not to mention the carts they do have look like they bought them at a garage sale twenty years ago. Other courses in this area are better quality for your money.

Came here for a Christmas party. The food was great! Lots of variety! Only complaint is the bar seemed to never be stocked during our party. I think every time I ordered something they ran out and had to leave to get more soda or something. Nice and spacious!

I like the layout. Pretty open on most holes. Lots of roll. Greens are in good shape and pace of play is right at 4 hours. I dont like the 5 hour round so often we will go right before twilight. As a twosome we can get a round in about 3 hours.

Really enjoyed playing here and the rates are very affordable for the quality of the course. Disappointing that the practice range was closed, but the greens were in great shape and very consistent. Look forward to playing here again soon

Although is rated easy, the slightly wider fairways doesnt mean you wont lose any balls. Course time for 2 people is about 4 hours. Great staff, right in the heart of Friscos retirement community

Great course however the greens had just been aerated at the time and did not say anything about that and at $75+ it was not worth it. Would have been nice if they gave us a heads-up on that

I come every year for the ALS golf tournament. Friendly staff and I like that they are willing to help the ALS charity and give back. The staff is always helpful

Great little short course. Fairways and greens were in awesome conditions. Conditions were fine even after downpour for half hour.
