I love farmers markets. I try to visit as many as I can, and this one is fantastic. Ive been a vendor and a shopper at this location for about three months. The folks are nice, the selection is amazing and the coordinator is quite attuned to everyones needs. Walking around reminds me of a Gilmore Girls episode. Definitely a place to visit in McKinney.

Our wedding Saturday evening was everything we wanted it to be. It could not have been so perfect without Kim and the wonderful staff. All of our guests loved the venue and it provided the exact atmosphere we wanted. We only looked at this venue and knew it was the place for us. McKinney, Texas’s Chestnut Square Historic Village recreates life from 1850-1930 on a campus that features six historic houses, a one-room schoolhouse, a chapel, and a general store. The surrounding buildings also include a blacksmith shop, a smoke house, all filled with period artifacts from the 19th century.

My absolute favorite market! Its not overwhelming in size but its perfectly packed with amazing local food and craft vendors. Its nestled in the downtown area of the city so theres always something to see or do. Definitely the place to visit on a Saturday morning!

Chestnut Square is a historic venue. I love dee jaying Wedding Reception and Private Events here. Kim and the other staff are so easy to work with. The farmers market is a big event here also, come out for some great produce and homemade items.

Chestnut Square is a living history museum with wonderful old buildings and beautiful grounds. A favorite for school tours and weddings! Photographers visit often to use the backdrops of the gardens and porches.

This is a really cute place to take pictures and they have a seasonal farmers market which is neat but most of the year there is not a lot of activity here out side of weddings and ghost tours.
