I would give less than one star, if possible. I was very excited about the possibility of using The Summit Club as my venue for our wedding reception, but was soon mistreated. After meeting with their event coordinator, my whole family was excited-- they offered everything we wanted and were willing to let us in the morning of the wedding reception to decorate the tables and put up the decorations we are making ourselves.. seemed like it would work out perfect. As I went to drop off the deposit, the event coordinator was not available which forced me to talk to the owner. I will never suggest that anyone use Summit as their venue after the way he treated me. I was with my father who has had a stroke and in result can not speak properly-- so he didnt say much. I was treated like a little girl who must follow what the owner said, not what had been previously discussed with the event coordinator. Luckily, I had questions about the contact... including a question about why he contract said we wouldnt be able to enter the venue space until 5 p.m. that night. After asking my questions, I was told I should just change my wedding date; told I should cut down my guest list so I dont have to use the entire ballroom and they can host another event in the other half; and then told I should be able just leave my decorations there and theyll set them up... meaning that I would never see the space before I enter after the wedding. I was quoted the price to use the entire ballroom, and told them that if I was going to pay that fee than I would get the entire ballroom. I said I am being very transparent and they are not going through with what I was told when meeting with the event coordinator. Needless to say, I did not leave a check or deposit and left with my signed contract in hand.. never to return. I will say, I was willing to give a second chance if their event coordinator called to apologize or smooth things over. But she did not, she chose to send me a TEXT MESSAGE... I am a customer, not a friend. That is very unprofessional and truly showed me their lack of interest in their customers. I will always have a bad taste in my mouth about this venue, and will let everyone I know- know about the awful experience I had with their staff.

I would give less than a star if I could. The pictures on the website were beautiful but the experience was not. I had an appointment for 2pm. Two vehicles were already there waiting in the parking lot. I got out of the car and a lady rolls down her window and says "Do you have the keys?!" I was shocked! She said that she made a cake for the groom thats wedding was that day and he was suppose to meet her with the cake a long time ago. She said the other car had been there waiting an hour to get ready and set up things for the family having the wedding. When the man FINALLY got there he said he forgot about our appointment. He was very rude and didnt know anything. He even said two things under his breath twice about the management there and how it wasnt good. The lawn was not manicured and TWO weddings were booked that day. I asked if that happened often and his reply was "No, something must have got messed up. It has happened a couple of times though. But not usually." Also, the garden area which leads out to the pavilions flowers were dead, lawn not mowed, and the brick around the flower beds were caved in, in numerous places. Also, there were cigarette buds outside as well as trash and candy wrappers. If I would have known you could add pictures to a review I would have took many because this place was ridiculous as well as the man who showed us around.

I absolutely loved having my wedding at The Summit Club. Stephanie was amazing and I honestly dont know what I would have done with out her there. The food and service where great and I will defiantly look here first when booking future events. As for the people with the negative comments about not being able to get a refund; Im sorry for your loss but you sign a contract at the beginning saying that any money paid is nonreturnable under any conditions. Yes its risky because anything can happen but thats the price you pay for them holding your spot and making it unavailable for other events.

I was made aware of this place by a friend of mine, and unfortunately, I will forever have a bad taste in my mouth about this company. It is truly heartbreaking to hear of a bride tragically losing her groom before her "big day". And even more so, the hall that had been reserved having absolutely ZERO remorse. Its sad to know that there are businesses out there who are more concerned with the almighty dollar than for of the people that they do business with. Sad for both the bride and the character level of this business.

The Summit Club is Longviews finest event venue, hands down! When you begin to plan an event with Meredith, the event coordinator, and Nafie, the General Manager, they make you feel you are their first priority and your event is in good hands. I have been to numerous events at The Summit Club and can truly say they are unlike any other I have experienced. The staff is magnificent, the food is superb, and I cannot wait to celebrate another special day with The Summit Club!

My little sister recently had a wedding there and I must say the Summit Club was AMAZING!!! Meredith was SO awesome in helping with the plans getting things setup and Nafie, the owner, was amazing to work with and really connected with our family. Its like we were all just one big family and everything turned out great! The perfect wedding venue hands down! No one does it better than The Summit Club!!! I would give them 10 Stars if I could!

OH EM GEE!! Where do I start?!?! With the help of Meredith, the Event Coordinator, I planned the most amazing surprise birthday party for my boyfriend on 3-6-16. The ENTIRE staff had their act together from start to finish. They were courteous, professional, and even joined in the fun when asked to!! The food and service was impeccable. Ive gotten soo many compliments from my guests. I will definitely be using their services in the future!!

My friend paid in full to use this facility for their wedding reception. The groom passed away in a tragic accident and these people refused to refund the deposit. This is ridiculous. They should at least refund SOME of the money! STAY AWAY from this place! Customer service is non existent! Really people? Have some sympathy. Now the family has to pay for a funeral, as well as a wedding hall that they will not be able to use.

I have booked several events here and everything went wonderful, as planned, but as of IMMEDIATELY, I will no longer even be considering booking anything or even attending functions here. They are not giving ANY refund to a bride whose fiancee was killed 2 months before their wedding that was paid in full. Ludicrus and uncalled for. I hope to spread the word! (And if i could have given them "0" stars, I would!!!!!)
