I used to come to this wake park every day after school in 2015, I my friend and I had used Groupon to purchase 40 passes between the two of us that were promoted to come with both gear and a two hour ride pass and we had never had problems with this before. We went back yesterday because I had remembered that I still had passes left and we got in just fine, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that did not last very long, as today we had shown up to go wake boarding like normal, and we asked if we could use two passes for each of us. Then we were informed that we still needed to pay for equipment after using one pass per person and we were confused, we had never had to pay before. After talking with the owner, we were told that after each pass it was $15-$25 dollars more for equipment which was never explained to us after going here for many years and that they would not honor the Groupon, which advertised that it came with equipment rental as well. The owner made no effort what so ever to help us and honor what we had purchased before, and was definitely not a very inviting person. I believe because the owner was there the sales woman that was working was less inclined to help us as he did not seem like he wanted us to be helped. We ended up leaving the park wondering why after all this time we were able to get in without having to pay for gear when we realized that they had been using two passes (each was supposed to be a pass for two hours and equipment) each time we had went without telling us. So when we had only gone 8-9 times prior when we arrived today we only had 23/40 passes left and nobody had informed us of this. Even at that, I wish they could have worked with us more but it seemed like they didnt want to help us at all. Very disappointed with the owners handling of the situation and that they no longer honor what I had purchased. He could have at least offered to let us use extra passes for equipment but rather just seemed to get annoyed/upset with us.

The facilities were great. I liked the fact that a brew house is attached to the park. But how the line operators run the cable and wait line to ride was terrible. The operators set a "fast lane" and "slow lane" which really was "our friends and regulars" and "everyone else" lines. They would supposedly increase the cable speed and let the riders in the "fast lane" skip the line of riders in the "slow lane". After the friends and regulars had 2-3 starts a piece, then they would supposedly slow the line down and let the "slow lane" riders all start once. Then back to "fast". I say supposedly increase and decrease cable speed because I rode on both settings and couldnt tell a difference. A single wait line for riding the cable would be much more efficient at getting riders on the water and fair to everyone waiting. If the more experienced riders have a serious beef with the cable being a few mph slower then simply increase the cable speed for segments of time. Example: run the cable at 19mph every other 20 min and in between then run it at 16 mph; with only one wait line to get on the cable. The way it is operated now feels like the staff is giving preferential treatment to their friends and more experienced riders.

They put you on the beginner lake and watch you fall flat on your face for 30 minutes then you walk over to the main cable and they watch you fall flat on your face for the other 25 minutes. If you think that youll be able to make 1 circle around the pond if you are a beginner then you are kidding yourself. Youll see little 6 yr old kids jumping off the ramp but those children are there everyday and have been every day for a couple years now. They need to have beginners stay on the beginner lake until they can continually make it back & fourth at least 3 times without falling.

First time lessons were very beneficial, however if you have a fifth person it will cost you and additional $150, which is a rip-off. The 1 hour pass is the biggest scam I ever saw. You pay $40 to get a chance to maybe fall on your face twice in the one hour. The rest of the time you are waiting to get a chance to go again. The regulars jump the line and the workers let them do it! Total disappointment! Dont waste your money!

My son really enjoyed his time here. He did the week long lessons and our visiting company had so much fun that they went 3 times in the dead of summer while here from NH. We cant wait til it gets warm again to go back. The instructors were great and knew exactly what they need to change about their form to get better.

The kids loved the Aqua Park this summer. I loved it because they are required to wear a life jacket and there is a life guard on duty. I could relax and hang out on the patio at The Tap House with my friends while the kids were playing. Win/Win!

So upset I called last week asking of they would be open all next week and was told yes and when I get there they are both in closed for maintenance on the cables. I drove 1000 miles to come here and wake board and I even tried both locations.

The staff is great and mostly well run. The only thing I would recommend is that you wear a shirt underneath the vests they provide. I was given a wet vest to use and ended up with a rash all over my back.

My son loves being there! Great atmosphere for kids to hang out.....kids are friendly & helpful to each other. Staff is courteous & helpful - its a great place!!!!

Operators are nice. One of them let me borrow his personal wakeboard. Owner is cool. They are helpful with my kids.
