Great park. Surrounded by residential areas. MAJOR PROBLEM IS GETTING THERE.. Not a single Cross Walk anywhere. Parks and City say not their problem, state highway , state issue. There is an overpass across 77 By Middle schoola. This park is between Harlingen Highschool North, and all the residents have to cross the state highway on foot no crosswalk,. MY NEIGHBOR WAS STRUCK CROSSING THE STREET COMING BACK FROM PARK A COUPLE YEARS AGO. STILL NO SAFE CROSSING HERE. WHOS CITY OFFICISLS CHILD WILL NEED SACRAFICING TO BEING RUN DOWN BY TRAFFIC. BEFORE ANY ACTUAL ACTION IS DONE???????

Nice public park with walking paths and outdoor exercise equipment. Playground equipment for the kids too. Lots of ducks and a few geese live around the pond. There is a somewhat aggressive goose at the pond so just beware it may try to flog you. Park has tennis courts and picnic areas but little shade. There are two bathrooms. One on each end of the park. Have always been fairly clean when Ive needed to use one.

This is pretty much the only noteworthy community park in Harlingen! Theres great trails to walk around on and theres always ducks in the pond. Additionally, this is pretty much the one and only hotspot to play Pokémon GO in town other than downtown - though dont expect to catch anything particularly rare.

A wonderful little park in otherwise bland Harlingen, TX! The new 1-mile hike-and-bike trail is full of people most nights, in a way Ive never seen in the Valley. The duck pond is entertaining, and I love the fact that the kids hang out in the memorial area. I love this lil park!

Great park, walkways, duck pond, tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, outdoor exercise equipment, outdoor basketball court, and veteran memorial of foreign wars. Also has a covered area for parties for rent and many picnic tables.

My favorite park as a kid. Its great for playing outside, seeing wildlife, or taking a swim. Now its a great option for people who play Pokemon GO as well. Overall a great family experience

The pool, the play areas for the children, the walking trail, the pavilion, the wild life out there and the large Boulder monument, need I say more? This park is awesome!!!! Love it!!

Pretty little park with a play area for children and a very spacious parking lot. Also has a Veteran Memorial next door. Excellent for a family reunion.
