"Beware Raw Sewage" on ground signs frequent the area. Saw sewage pumping crew sucking poo water from creek and near area. This Salado Creek is contaminated downstream & upstream. People hike, bike & fish from "poo creek" A horrible town not worthy of visiting. Linda says Eweee....

Stayed at the trail-head with 2 small dogs. Brought a picnic - stayed for hour. Wish I could have found those benches! This trail-head is wheelchair friendly including the portapotty. Very busy park at 5 pm Monday. Bicycles & hikers. Quite nice. Easy to find on google maps.

awesome park well groomed, populated, and the grounds crews roam around. I have been there about 15 times so far and about 9 times i have seen a police rover running around. Very awesome to go walking on my lunch break and lovely outdoors place in the middle of the city.

Awesome trail head to the greenway that stays cool even in the hottest thanks to the canopy... very safe, always come across SAPD or park police.. Only downside is only can really go north, trail soon ends in the southern direction because of BAMC.

Trails are nicely paved. Good amount of shade, great for walking, running, cycling, dog walks, etc. We usually take the trail down to LBJ or Macalister park. Seen lots of deer, occasionally owls and snakes.

Go south from this start point and take in the flora and natural fauna. Spring time is great for foraging for morsels such as wild onion, dewberry, or honey suckle.

Great trailhead with a tool bar for your bike that shockingly still has all of its tools, and as of now, Im pretty sure is graffiti free.

After a hundred walks it never gets old. Best kept secret in San Antonio, plenty of shade for a hot day.
