Visited the place on the first Sunday of June. Glad I did, because I didnt have to pay any admission fee. I like the industrial feel of the place and the zen-like pool(?) outside. The bathroom was quite nice and the staff were quite helpful, though they look a bit intimidating. I still need to visit their cafe, but from the looks of it, the place is neat and consistent with the whole modern zen aura/brand of the museum. They have in display artworks of popular modern artists, like those from Andy Warhol and Jason Pollock. To be honest, Im not too familiar with the more contemporary modern artists, but if you are, youll probably love the place. As for me, I enjoyed visiting the place: a must see.

I love the Modern! Well first let me say that Im all about the Arts and Culture community to begin with. I have seen many exhibits here and just recently I saw a movie at their Magnolia Theater. It was my first time viewing a movie there and was very surprised how big the theater is. I want to say it holds up to 250 people. There was a piano at the bottom on the floor of the theater so I assume they must have performances in the room which I think is pretty cool. I saw the Documentary, Miss Sharon Jones and it was awesome. The time before, I came to see the Kehinde Wiley exhibit which was absolutely amazing!!! I live in Dallas but if the artist is someone Im into, I will definitely make the drive.

This museum is great. I went here with family, including my 10 year old and it was awesome. They had some great installations. I took a ton of pics and just loved being there. They also had a great gift shop. One thing that I didnt like, was some of the people standing around, making sure you dont touch anything, were pretty rude. One lady told my son to take off his hat. Then told him to stand several feet back. It was embarrassing for him and unnecessary. Theres no hat rule. Also, my mother in law got reprimanded for standing too close as well. Not touching, but close. All in all it was cool though

This was my first time and I was blown away. It started with the friendly valet service ($10) and then the spectacular view of the beautiful building with a huge KAWS piece in the front. The building itself is a piece of art in itself. The view of the huge pons with the lawn in the background makes it look like the entire place is literally FLOATING. The KAWS exhibit was awe-inspiring!! Its a must-see! The permanent collection is beautiful as well. Very friendly staff...even when one of the gentleman asked me to step away from one of the pieces. In his defense I was way too close lol

Personally, I dont enjoy art or seek it out. But it was required for me ot visit one art museum in the area for my Art Appreciation class. So I looked through the type of art I would most enjoy and I came across the modern art museum of fort worth. This museum contains Post World 2 art and have many different exhibitions. When I went, they were displaying art by contemporary artists Lorna Simpson, and KAWS. The experience was overall really fun for me because the museum was well-kept and the museum staff were very helpful in directions and whatnot. Will try and visit again.

Took a lot of pictures it was a great experience tickets were cheap . The Art pieces were amazing the art setup was nice . It was only on the first floor I thought there was more upstairs but it was different art pieces but other then that it was great . They have a little shop where I bought a companion for my husband.

One of my all time favorite art museums. The minimalist architecture is perfect for the display of some brilliant modern art. I love the reflecting pool surrounding the building and Richard Serras Vortex sculpture is a must-experience item in and of itself. Stand inside and just listen to the sound of your own voice reverberating through it. Better yet, if you play an acoustic instrument, bring it along and play it inside the sculpture. The sound is awesome.

I went today since I was in town and I have heard people say good things in the review, but when I arrived I found out that there was an admission fee. $4 for students and $10 for adults. I was under the impression by the reviewers that it was a free museum. Price a bit ridiculous if youre not a student, Im a student, but decide to leave instead as Dallass museum us free and offers more.

The Modern Art museum of Fort Worth was a wonderful place to visit from there art gallery and there architecture design. If the professor don’t give me the project to go there and write a paper. I will never know Fort Worth have a great place to explore. I recommend your to come there. The ticket for adult is reasonable under 8 buck and with a student id should be around $6.00.

Museum is nice, but some of the art is boring, and its disappointing that theres only a couple of pieces to represent each of the different styles and artists and types of modern art. Would like to see displays with a lot more pieces per subject matter. And, Im really not impressed with the obscene pieces that have been up for years. Those need to come down.

Beautiful building with a very solid collection, and generally well curated traveling shows. The cafe and bar are filled with friendly staff positioned on the edge of a gorgeous reflecting pool. Architecture students will appreciate the quality of the museums built environment, while art students will appreciate the care put into curated shows and events.

(There is a student price if you have a student ID, and its free to the public on Sundays) I come here often with my mom who is a member and always enjoy the exhibits. The modern also hosts an upscale restaurant and bar if you want to chat with the artsy community of Ft.Worth before enjoying the art. The Frank Stella exhibit was a favorite for me!

I love the permanent and traveling collections, but the not so hidden gem are the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth concerts that take place at the auditorium on Saturday afternoons. They are absolutely mesmerizing and unbelievably affordable. I take my whole family and the kids are doing better in school because of these priceless events.

Beautiful space! The natural light and high ceilings provide a great atmosphere for viewing the artwork. In my opinion, the layout didnt flow too well. I kept feeling like I made a wrong turn and would miss a part of certain exhibitions. The gift shop did have small items that were not expensive. I appreciate that. Overall, a great museum!

The assistants here a very snotty and rude. This makes the visit not worth coming. Apparently people can carry man purses the size of suit cases but they told us there were no restrooms to change a child (which was not true theres three different restrooms aroun the museum) so we had to check our diaper bag at the bag check.
