I was a bit frustrated with the low ratings of the Ruth Paine House. I found this place fascinating from so many different levels. For one, I learned things that I had not heard elsewhere. For example, it was just "fate" that got Oswald working at the School Book Depository. It just so happened that a neighbor of Ruths worked at the Depository and knew that they were hiring. So just a few weeks before the assassination, Oswald got a job at the Depository. I was also fascinated with the house itself. It is a time capsule of the older small homes that were built by the thousands across the nation shortly after WWII. The house is a neat experience.

“Awesome find!” Im not surprised that all the reviews of this place are EXCELLENT. Its truly a great little museum! It is very spooky and odd to see the shower stall where Lee Harvey Oswald got ready to go down to the Texas Schoolbook Depository. Likewise, to see the photos and be IN THE HOUSE, you feel part of history! I went...

This is all fine and well if you want to believe a BS story that unravels if one takes the time to dig even just a little deeper into the enormous amount of available evidence beyond what one sided places such as this present.

Had fun taking my scout to this museum! They had interactive exhibits and lots of history of scouting. We were able to do a trivia scavenger hunt and earn a prize! Wasnt sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised!!
