Very nice selection of wines for every pallet. The first woman who we spoke to earlier that day was extremely nice and welcoming. However later that day, the man who served me and my two relatives I was with seemed to not like us or want to serve us. We literally just asked to do the sweet wine tasting that they offered, no special accommodations or any out of the ordinary requests. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. As soon as the tasting was over I saw him with another group and he was pleasant and cheerful to them. This is unfortunate because I really enjoyed the wine, however this experience made me not want to return.

Our visit to St. Michael’s marked the second visit to a Maryland state winery (Running Hare). Having recently toured through the Paso Robles region in California, we were interested to see what the East Coast had to offer. Running Hare’s wines were much sweeter and younger tasting than what we tasted out West (no surprise). There were only one or two that I really enjoyed. That said, the staff were very nice and the place was definitely busy on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Four stars for location and venue, three stars for the wine.

I purchased a Living Social voucher for two in December to visit St. Michaels Winery, and since December have made several attempts to redeem the voucher but no one has called me back or even replied to my email. This is not very good customer service or business. I wish I could get my money back, because at this point I will assume that the service onsite cant be any better.

Dont waste your time. Nothing here, no tour no production. $16.00 for two people to taste certain wines (not all). I purchased a bottle of Maryland Merlot for $22.00 and saw it the very next day at the liquor store for $13.49. Wow, I spent a little over $42 for the "non-experience" :(

My husband and I have been members of their wine club for three years. Our experience has been great! We have a special place in our hearts for Jane. She always makes sure we are taken care of. Looking forward to going to the Anniversary Celebration!

Reds are bottled fairly recently, so tart. Sweet wines are grape juice sweet, which I loved! Grapes are shipped in from CA, but theyre starting to buy local.
