I WANT TO SUPPORT BLACK OWENED BUSINESSES, BUT THEY HAVE TO DO BETTER and REMAIN CONSISTENT IN THEIR EFFORTS, LAST NIGHT I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE…..This is not always the case at this establishment, I’ve been there several times, and will go back. I believe in second chances.......but last night was AWEFUL. First off, they advertised all day yesterday that it was LADIES NIGHT, I get to the door and they asked me for $20. I told the young lady at the register about the advertisement, she looked at the two guys standing behind her, they said they had an artist, so it was a cover, I said it didn’t say that on the radio….after much back and forth and trying to convince my girls to go somewhere else, (yes, I invited other women because I thought it was LADIES NIGHT, and one of them were from out of town. I’m bragging on the club, and I get there only to tell them we have to pay to get in)…..we decided, we were already there, so we may as well go in, as I’m sure many other women decided to do the same thing, but several women left while we were standing there. If it weren’t for my girl celebrating a bday, we would have left also…So I asked can we at least get a free drink, after all it was LADIES NIGHT….well BIG BOY AND TALL SLENDER with the white shirt on shook their head no. I went in, found the first manager told him my gripe, and he asked one of the bartenders to make me a drink….THANK YOU…..OK so this is where business FAILS FOLKS, FIRST OFF, STICK TO YOUR ADVERTISEMENT, if you’re saying it’s LADIES NIGHT, then it should be ladies night, IF BY CHANCE YOU HAVE AN ARTIST PERFORMING ON LADIES NIGHT, how about GIVING THE LADIES A DISCOUNT ON THE COVER, after all, we’re supposed to get in for FREE, and IF YOU CAN’T AT LEAST DO THAT, then the first drink should be on the establishment!!! WOMEN BRING THE MEN OUT, so if you’re gonna advertise a LADIES NIGHT, HOLD TRUE TO YOUR ADVERTISEMENT (THE CLUB’S NAME IS “TRUTH” AFTER ALL GEESH). Now to the Drinks, some of them were watered down, in fact I had to take a drink to our bartender (CAT) to make it over, he did after giving it to another bartender and she CONFIRMED there was no alcohol in it. Now my drinks weren’t watered down, so I guess it’s who you go to. So in short, I guess you can say I’m pretty upset because here is another nice club that’s going to go down in flames if they don’t get it together. INVEST IN YOUR PATRONS, and THEY’LL INVEST IN YOU, and NO!!!! NOT ALL BLACK FOLK WANT EVERYTHING FOR FREE, some of us just want what we were promised. I hope this review helps the manager to make better business decisions. PPL ask about PARK AVE….well PARK AVE is successful because they’re consistent in what they offer, it’s never a surprise when you go there!!! That’s why I go there every Friday for HAPPY HOUR. I’m grown, so I go early and leave early before the teeny boppers get there. DO BETTER TRUTH, I was getting excited about having a Thursday night place to chill with my girls, but if there is going to be these little POP UP SURPRISE COVERS, I guess we’ll have to find another place. Much LOVE THOUGH!!!!

This club had horrible service. The music was cool but the service was no good. I wanted to purchase hookah so I asked for a table and was told that there were tables available for $50 and $250. I asked for the $50 table and after waiting for them to find a table was told there were no more available so I purchased a $250 table which I also had to wait for them to get it together. Once I was seated I was told I got a discount for my wait so I checked my receipt that had $250 on it. After waiting another 10 minutes the waitress/manager came to ask what juice we would like with our bottle. We waited another 15 minutes before receiving the drinks. When I question the discount I was told the table was actually $350 but the only prices I was told were originally $50 and $250. We ordered hookah for $40 which took forever too come out then the battery died before the end of the night. We ordered wings and 10 minutes later heard an announcement saying the kitchen was closed and of course our ordered hadnt been put in so we never received food. By the end of the night I asked if I could get a pic with the guest of honor and the manager said she would check and never came back but first said that she didnt get to put our order in but they had leftover wings that we could have for $10! Absolutely horrible service, I will never spend that amount of money there again. Zouks and Medusa has much better service, especially for there VIP guests.

Well, I would have given a higher review if the jerks outside letting people in were more professional. They were inexcusably rude. I went for my birthday on Saturday, but I had went two weeks prior to reserve an area for my group. I paid $250 for that and was informed that we wouldnt be required to wait in line because our section was reserved. All we needed to do was tell the staff at the front and we could skip the line. I did this and they had the gall to say with scowls on their faces "well you can just wait, there are only 5 people waiting to go in. Dont you see that?" They didnt even look up to make eye contact and the statement was relayed so rudely. Doesnt matter if there was just one person in line I should have been treated professionally and the way I was promised. My group then paid $200 just to enter, we got bottle service, ordered rounds of shots and numerous drinks. In total, our group spent well over $2000 at this venue. With that being said, their staff REALLY needs to work on customer service if they intend to stay in business. People will not continue to spend their hard earned money somewhere they are treated disrespectfully.

I was just there on Sunday and the service and the customer service needs a lot of work. As a new person visiting for the first time I had a bad experience. I guess they make money from booths so I did not have one because sister came in town last minute and wanted to go somewhere for branch. Since I heard about this place on the radio I thought I would love to try it out but the food was nasty. I tried almost everything but nothing was award winning. The guy at the door stated it was limited seating and their is no refund so I asked him do they have seat or not and he stated he is not sure and that they could not check for $28. and you could not see because the club is upstairs. Then I still wanted to check out the place so I paid and once we got upstairs the seating was taken because of all the booths and limited seating so we paid for a booth another $80 to be told you do not get any water and you still have to go to the bar for drinks. The positive is the club is nice and the band is good. I will never go back.
