Love The Balcony Club! The live music is the best! What a cool historical place to hang out and chill. Monday night open mic nights are off the chain. I always think I am going to stay for just a few performers but I end up shutting the place down. The band is reason enough to go alone but you also get amazing entertainers all through the night and the host Liz Mikel is off the chain entertaining! You can also get the best baked potato in your life. Kareems Potato Dream is there every Monday. I save up all week so I can indulge on one of these potatos. You have never had anything like it! Oh and they have the best bartenders! So awesome and work there butts off for you.

The lady bartender here makes a damn fine chocolate martini. We were doing a Lakewood pub crawl of sorts... so by the time we made it here I only had room in my bloodstream for one more drink and thats what the lady suggested for me. Id definitely get it again. The place has a very art deco look (if youre a gamer, think Bioshock). Very snazzy. Older crowd, nice music, intimate booth style seating as well as bar seating, scary staircase. My instincts always tell me very strongly to avoid staircases when Im drinking.. but here you cant avoid it since its on the second floor.

This was a great place for live music. Youre right up next to the stage making the experience very intimate. Some food but it seemed it was being delivered. Drink prices were reasonable too. Downside: almost to intimate. The seating is limited and when the place starts jumping and the music starts its standing room only. If it was a little less cramp the experience would have warant ed a 5 star

This place is so full of music and life! Ive only been here once (so far), but my sister and I truly enjoyed it. * Anybody can sing on stage as long as they sign "The List". * Dont worry though, there are all kinds of voices and genres of music performed up there! They are accepting and non-judegemental of your unique talent, so dont be shy!

A small quaint music bar/lounge in a quieter part of town with an older crowd. Small cover fee. Talented musicians played live blues music. Friendly staff. Full bar, handful of beers on draft. Crowd gets to dancing as the night goes on and patrons arent afraid to kiss in public. Drink prices seem to be typical Dallas $6+

What a great club! You feel like everyone yells "Norm" (or fill in your name here) when you walk in. A very hip and welcoming crowd, and pretty good jazz if you stay for the 2d show. The 5-8 Happy Hour (and all night Tuesdays) is a blast -- for all ages. You really should check it out.

Awesome little hole in the wall old feel club with lots of nice people and amazing bands. Little cramped if you go on a Saturday night but can make your way around to find a good spot to stand and drink. Loved the atmosphere def different for Dallas!
