We were on a wait list. Went there with 6 girls and 4 guys including myself. The door guy tried to convince us to get bottle service for $500. We just wanted to go inside since we were on the wait list, but they wouldnt let go of the bottle service idea. A buddy of mine is a club promoter and said it was too exp and then the door guy raised the price to $700 and was rude / talking down to us. I thought they were going to not let us in. We got in and the place was empty at 11pm. There mustve been 15 people there total. But 30 minutes later, it start filling up. In fact, it got so crowded at the end of the night, it was hard to move at all. There was hardly any room to stand around. They had to have been breaking a fire code to have so many people in there! It was nearly impossible to move from one side to another. If it wasnt so crowded, I wouldve had a great time. Unfortunately the big crowd ruined the experience, even on the dance floor. Im lucky to have been with good people or else I would not have enjoyed the night at all. The mens restroom had a broken urinal was either leaking water or urine. It was not marked out of order. Gross. Double (Bacardi) rum and coke: $18 Will not be returning due to the crowd and I hope they are fined by the FD so they learn their lesson. All you need is one fire and youre going to have at least 100 people trampled. Would you want that type of baggage for life? Apparently the owner of this place does.

This is a fantastic, exclusive and selective nightclub experience. Great music, strong drinks, impeccably clean and modern design. Prices are what you need to expect from this caliber of club, so dont be cheap. Guys, dress to impress and RSVP early, book a table or bring two or more gorgeous ladies if you expect to get in. Ladies, wear your best and look your finest if you expect to get in as well. This is a place where VIPs, models, agents, entrepreneurs, businessmen, cougars, young professionals and people with money to burn come to play. As such, dont be surprised to be turned away if you dont plan ahead and make an effort like I mentioned. Once youre inside, the atmosphere and sheer number of beautiful, stylish and classy people inside paired with amazing music and strong cocktails will make it a night to remember. Highly recommended.

The owners do not understand how to do business, clearly. The interior design is alright, but when is really striking, is how terrible the volume is. The sound is SO LOUD that not only does it render any conversation totally IMPOSSIBLE (hence no socializing remotely possible), but also it makes it impossible to place orders. Such bad business, and lack of common sense. When you exit the club, there are three options: - your ears are ringing - your ears are bleeding - youre deaf or a mix of the three. Worst tables in the club: the ones in the center. Its where the volume reaches its peak. I strongly advise against going to Avenu, at least until they decide to finally lower the volume considerably. For now, its just ridiculous.

I went to this club on 09/04 I leave my car with the Valet Parking (RP Valet Company) and the valet guy has an accident in my car, I was trying to report the incident and get some help from this club, I was talking with Veronica from the Auras Staff and she was really helpless, she told me that she was unable to help me, she told me the contat information form the valet parking company. I was talking to them, also they were unable to help me. Thats crazy, I paid for the valet parking service and the Auras Club and the Valet Company were really weak. Id like to let you know my case, if you like this club I hope you can have better luck, believe me, they do not care about you. Alfonso Salas

Worst place in the history of bars. Everything you hate about Uptown- standing shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of strangers listening to terrible music and paying way too much for drinks. Security staff was completely inept. Worried too much about getting people out of the VIP area while fights are breaking out on the dance floor. Completely unprofessional and clearly just power tripping. I do have to say that the really really tall bouncer was nice. I was very surprised to see some people calling this place "classy" because its about the trashiest place Ive ever been. Wish I could leave zero stars.

So glad this place finally opened! From the moment you walk down you feel like youre going down the rabbit hole as youre immediately stimulated with art, neon lights, av ante guard decor and of course true house music. Which is awesome if youre looking for a club that offers fresh new sets than what the other places play over and over. Staff was pretty chill and you dont get that "club douche" vibe. People there are true club goers and actually dress up. Make no mistake if youre looking for a true house club experience, Avenu Lounge is a solid selection.

Went to Aura for New Years Eve. Got there at like 10:30 and was completey sober. I was supposed to be the DD. Drank water. Noticed lots of nasty guys there. Apparently somebody slipped a roofie (or something) in my drink and I barely remember a thing. Really scary experience. I paid a lot to go here because I thought it would be classy and upscale. I was totally wrong. Only thing I remember is being on the dance floor with lots of disgusting guys trying to grab me. Creepy, scary place. Dont even think about going here.

Its a place where they only allow you in if they feel like it. Inspite of adding my name and friends names to the guestlist, I have been turned back for no specific reason 2 out of 3 times. They are are bunch of racist folks who prolly dont want many colored people in their upscale club. Even the one time they let us in....They just want to sell their tables & bottled service and go to any extreme for doing that. I swear...Im never going there.

FYI...next time you get a table at aura...try tasting the vodka...make sure its what you ordered!!!! We bought a table with a bottle of greygoose. They came out with the sparklers in the bottle (notice the CAP IS OFF when they bring out the bottle).... When I drank the vodka on ice...ouch..it was totally cheap vodka...not greygoose.. no way. WATCH OUT AND DONT PAY FOR TABLE SERVICE AT AURA.

BUNCH OF RACISTS BASTARDS! GUESS WHAT, IM HISPANIC AND YOU WOULDNT LET ME IN, WTF????? Its okay, I took my business and money elsewhere and had three times more fun in a brand new club with three floors and a bunch of people right down the street. Im glad you didnt let me in because your stupid little club wouldnt have been worth it, CHEERS!!!!!!!

Im not sure if they are just racist or dont like customers!! Im an Indian guy....with 3 other Indian girls....trying to get in and they refuse directly saying "You go in only if you have a table!". It was just 10PM so I doubt the club would have been full. Left in 2 white chicks without any questions! Dont think Ill be trying it out again.

Went there after pizza around one, there was no line, patio not full and they refused to let our party - 3 girls, 3 guys in - without buying a table. Let another group of 6 "regulars" in right in front of our faces. Very rude about us not wanting to get a table.
