Liked the cavern the first time. 1st time several years ago it was good. But this 2nd time going there it was a different experience. Current guide needs replacing. He cost them some business today. Someone that is anti-science and has a personal agenda is a poor choice for a cavern tour guide. I specifically said that we are not going to discuss that. Referring to something he wanted to say. Plus it appears that the cavern is deteriorating rapidly. Lots of green growth, and perhaps a black growth as well, are very very evident in my pictures. It does have a nice gift shop. I was going to buy some items after the tour, but the tour changed my mind. So I bought nothing. If you need some gifts and are in the area, it is worth stopping in. I dont think this cavern will be open to the public much longer. It is very sad to see the caverns come to this.

The hike up to the cavern was nice, and the canvern was a pleasure for my eyes, ESPECIALLY the copper formations. I fricking love those. The tour guide we had also had a sense of humor and answered our questions with ease. However, the gift shop didnt have any real stuff in it, therefore it was quite overpriced, mainly because it didnt offer much for one "set." Also, the tour was much shorter than one hour. Rank B.

When you first arrive you may say to yourself, "this is where the caverns are?". Everything is underground. We got there at 4, and since they close at 5 we had our own private tour. Charles was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly, he answered our questions and we had a blast! Highly recommended going here if you are in the area and have an hour to spare.

I think we were spoiled on our visit here. The tour was conducted by a most delightful fella with a terrific sense of humor. The tour takes about 30 or so minutes and is neat. If you are in the area and dont mind shelling out $15/person this is a worthy stop to make. If your tour guide is a young man named Corey, tell him we said hi and enjoyed the tour.

We loved the place but the young tour guide was awful. He didnt tell us anything about the cavern and was more interested in our personal life and also making fun of it. it says its an hour long tour its not, It took us only 25 minutes to get through the whole thing including hiking to it. We do not recommend.

Neat place to visit. The tour takes about an hour. Please be warned that theres a good amount of walking involved to get to the cave entrance. Also, once inside, theres a lot of almost vertical steps. Do not do the tour of you have serious health issues. There is a small gift shop with snacks at the front.

Must See Beautiful large multi-level Cavern, there are lots of stairs so no wheelchair access, with a stream running through the bottom of it. The temperature is cool and it is well lit. Ive been in a lot of caverns from the west coast to the east coast this is definitely one of my favorites

Highly recommend! Beautiful formations. Took my 7 yr old granddaughter & she had a blast. Your guide great. Ive been here many times. Cool temps feel great on hot day. Theres walking & some stairs. Also visit Appalachian Caverns about 25 minutes away, but totally different!

Liked the cavern. Very beautiful. Didnt like the guide. Told us that science was wrong about the time required to form the formations and that it didnt matter if you touch them. Tended to talk at the tour not to them.

I have been to a lot of caves and this is one of the best. Lots of nice formations, some really tall rooms, and an underground lake. Lots of hiking and stairs, so be ready to walk. Solid guide for our tour.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The caverns are not as big as others I have visited in Spain. It would be cool if they had colored lights like other caverns.
