Me and my wife are escape room enthusiasts and really enjoyed both games at this location. We escaped "Return to Earth" but failed "The Cloning Experiment". About the games: Return to Earth is a very good game with some clever puzzles and high tech props. Its a tough game, but with good teamwork can be solved. The atomosphere and cosmetics of the game are well done. "The Cloning Experiment" is an even better game and provides a serious challenge for even highly experienced escape room players. Lot of tough puzzles in this one...but a lot of fun. My hats off to the game designer, prop builders, electronics developers that put this game together. These are truly some talented people. If there are a few drawbacks to the place, they are as follows: 1. I absolutely hate the clue system. I wont dock a star because this is a personal preference, but the clues are released on a computer screen on a timed delay. What this meant for my group was since we were ahead of the game for the first 45 minutes, the clues released were useless because we had already solved the puzzles. But then we got stuck on a difficult puzzle and had to wait until an appropriate clue was released to help us. I like to be in control of the clues and be able to ask for one when we are truly stuck. I think we would have won "The Cloning Experiment" if the clues were delivered "on demand" in the traditional fashion. 2. The rooms are of adequate size, but they are both only single rooms. I like multiple room games. Their location no doubt has a lot to do with it. Just not enough space for multiple room games. In summary: This is probably the best Escape Room in Pittsburgh that is not on your radar and people dont know about but is definitely worth checking out. These are extremely talented folks building and designing these games. If they could get to the point of finding a larger location, and really step up their on-line presence and marketing, they could easily be one of the top Escape Rooms in Pittsburgh. Oh....and of course, change that clue delivery system!

This was a fantastic experience. We had been trying to figure out something to do for my sons 16th birthday and decided on Code Breakers. We were not disappointed. The boys loved it. It was something that they had never done before - the puzzles were amazing and the boys were able to Return to Planet Earth. They worked together and loved every moment. I would highly recommend Code Breakers to anyone looking for a challenge and anyone who loves puzzles and codes. They even have a room for younger children ages 7-13. We can not wait for them to open their next room because we will be back!!!!!!!!

This was such an awesome experience for all ages. Our group had two 26 year olds and two 13 year olds, and everyone enjoyed their experience. This definitely requires some thought, and there are many opportunities for success. The staff was also fun and friendly. I recommend trying this location out.

We took a group of six 10-11 year-olds for a birthday party. At first I thought the 2 adults would just be observing, but it turned out we needed all hands on deck! We escaped just in time though, & had a blast. Highly recommend this experience!

Our daughter celebrated her 12th Birthday here with five of her friends. I was worried that it wouldnt be challenging enough, but the girls had a great time! The staff was so friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

We were there for a birthday party, and the kids LOVED it. I would highly recommend. in my opinion, the puzzles were just the right level of difficulty for the age group (~10 yrs old).

Lots of fun and really got our brains going! We didnt solve the puzzle in time but had a great time anyway! Only suggestion is to have better signage from the outside.
