When I first heard the wax museum would be no more I was sad & convinced the owners were making a mistake. I was so so wrong. I LOVE the new HERITAGE CENTER! The 3D pics were AWESOME. All of the artifacts were wonderful. My favorite exhibit was the 3 Rebs posing for the camera & the camera set itself. I was pleased the wax figures were kept in the map area, but I was hoping they would be lit up more. I also missed Lincoln coming up from the stage. This is a fantastic place to learn about the people & the town of Gettysburg. Its priced right too. I recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the Gettysburg Heritage Center. We especially liked the 3D photographs and the movies. My favorite was sitting in a mock up of one of the farmers cellars at that time period right and hearing as well as seeing the events during that 3 day period in 1863. With the sounds and video, it felt real. The museum docents were warm, friendly, and knowledgable. It was a great experience at a very reasonable price! Kudos to the Gettysburg Heritage Center!

This is GREAT! A family favorite. We can hardly go to Gettysburg without visiting the Wax Museum. Great for kids and adults. Love the lay out. Its like an adventure inside. The long dark halls with lit displays along with the wax figures makes for a creepy yet unique experience. A must do.

This is the place where the History Nerds tours operate - we loved our Nerd tour and highly recommend Al, our tour guide. There is free parking in the back of the building, which is set back from the road. The restrooms inside are clean and the gift shop has something for everyone.

I liked this place better when it was a wax museum. Now its one room and not much to learn. Its supposed to be a heritage museum but didnt really learn about the citizens of Gettysburg. Way overpriced for a one room exhibit and felt like I wasted my time.

I was very disappointed that it is no longer a wax museum but it was still pretty cool to see all the new things in there. My favorite part was the cellar experience. Definitely worth going through at least once.

Always enjoy seeing whats new here when Im in that area. Great collection of books if youre looking for a good civil war/historic read. Id recommend the museum just for the "cellar experience" alone.

This is a great place for kids. They have a lot of great displays here about all kinds of people connected with the Civil War, like John Brown, Harriet Tubman, etc. We thought it was great.

Its not just a wax museum anymore. It chronicles the town and its people following the war and the hardships they faced during the aftermath. I was really impressed with the focus.

Wax museum would be fine if I walked in with NO expectations... Not worth the $6.95 per person admission.... Disappointed with the displays! Spend $8 and go to the National museum!

Really nice museum. Informative and exiting setup. Short videos around the exhibit made the dry facts much more interesting. Absoluttely worth visiting.

First time to the "museum" since the remodel. It was nice, updated, but the tour was a little overpriced for the amount there is to see watch.
