Ive been to 3 concerts at the event center. It is nice to have a real concert venue in the LV. Im not crazy about the gym floor type general admission layout. Not everyone wants to stand the whole show and I know people who avoid concerts here for that very reason. Sometimes they have chairs on the main floor. My largest gripe is the bathroom situation, which basically requires you to leave the event center and cross into the casino. You are not allowed to bring your beer out of the venue into the bathrooms. You need wristbands to get back in. That is a terrible design, and they know it. At least the bathrooms are very nice, if inadequate for the size of the venue. I will say that drinks are a fair price, and they often have groupons for shows that dont quite sell out. The nightclub and casino affords a great place to meet a group before/after the concert and have food and drinks. Plus the parking is free. Too bad there isnt enough of it. Be prepared to walk from Steel Stacks or get valet. Parking is not really adequate and Im not aware of any shuttle arrangements over to Steel Stacks or anything like that. One time we had to park in the bus area 3 cars deep, and hope we could get out after the show. Get there early to insure parking, or use the valet if its otherwise full. My other gripe is that this venue basically competes with Steel Stacks/Musikfest for some shows, and they are 3 blocks from each other. It is too bad they cant cooperate a little more.

I am very disappointed with the Bar Staff at the event center. My daughter and I went to see The Maine, The All-American Rejects and 2 other bands on July 30, 2017. I was buying my drinks for her and I and used my Visa Gift Card to pay for it. I said to the bartender to let me know what I owe after the card is used and he and the manager said that they used it and it showed that there was only $20.74 remaining on the card, therefore, it could not be used and that they reimbursed my card and I would have to pay for the drinks in cash instead. I said not a problem and I gave them the $22.00 and even a $5.00 tip. I checked 2 times now with the Visa Company and the money has yet to show back in my account. I am praying that they did not pocket my money. I placed a call with The Sands Event Center and am now waiting for a call back. I will let you all know how this pans out. Therefore, I am not going to rate them until I hear from them.

Awesome in house Night club as well as a state of the art event center that consistently books high demand performers, great variety in the kind of events offered, considerate and dedicated security staff that strives to create an environment where that is not only safe for the celebrity acts but is safe for the guests as well, well trained bouncers ensure no dangerous potential patrons or deadly weapons are carried into the nightclub or show amphitheatre, professional certified top trained technicians and production crews, and the Vision Bar is an upscale club scene with many different attractions, celebrity DJs and theme nights for almost any kind of taste

My ID just expired, but I dont look any different than my ID than I do now, so I cant even have a drink during my friends party. Im 25 years old. Way to take the ID rule too seriously. $70 for 2 hours in a a very uncomfortable theater. I give this experience 2 stars because the bathroom had the appearance as if it was never used. The people in the town are nice as well.

I was shocked when I walked in and saw how ugly this place was. Folding chairs on a flat floor!!! The sound and acoustics were equally poor!!! I would recommend no one going there for a concert. Maybe some events would work there but a concert is out of the question! I think the public deserves more for the price of tickets!!! Big ZERO!

This is a great venue for seeing shows. Small enough that there really arent any bad seats. Sound is usually pretty good. Since it is part of the Sands Casino, there are plenty of places to grab a meal before shows (gamble too, if youre into that).

Awsome stay! Very clean and when my girlfriend doesnt sweep the room and strip the bed first before putting her bags down... You know its clean. Great location for everything youd want to do in Bethlehem/Allentown...

It was our first concert there and we will definitely be back for more. We sat in one of the last rows and still had a great view of the stage. Unfortunately we werent able to stick around afterwards and gamble.

Nice venue to watch a band. It is small and intimate and the Sands gets some good names playing here. The prices are good, decent parking options and the bar is always a great place to hit prior to the show!

Room was clean, new, and everything worked. Staff was very friendly and helpful. May need a few more signs as to where the hotel is, when you are coming from the casino. Overall visit was great.

Absolutely pathetic infrastructure (parking, restrooms, bars, etc...) for a venue of this size. Parking took 30 minutes, theres one restroom for general admission, and only a handful of bars.

Ive been to several concerts and comedic performance at this venue and absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere with a huge bar area. I definitely recommend seeing a venue here.

I guess floor seating is OK, because the stage is above you. Wing seating is horrible because its the same height as the stage and you cant see over the guy in front of you.

This dump couldnt be any more plain. The price of tickets is RIDICULOUS compared to other venues. I will never go back and the same goes for the Allentown fair and musikfest.

Venue is small and intimate but the little plastic chairs sucked. Alcohol was allowed on the floor so you may need to put up with drunk idiots during your show.

Not a gigantic venue, which is nice. No matter where you are, you feel so close to the band. Plus, in kicking hot summer its great because its air conditioned!

This venue was great for a comedy show, with the exception of the folding seats. They had screens for people farther from the stage and a good sound system.

If your handicap , it was horrible .you stood in line the whole time and had to walk around behind. I never see such a venue that has lack of consideration.

Nice outside area (pre) show. The inside is very bland and doesnt have atmosphere. Many lights burned out. Seats are very uncomfortable!
