DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE! I dont care what youre booking it for, run away now. A friend of mine got married here recently. The grounds look like a retirement home, the pond was a terrible shade of green and Angie, the complimentary wedding "coordinator" was awful. The rehearsal: We had 1 hour at the venue because Angie didnt have adequate child care. There was no music available, no itinerary for the ceremony (that I saw), and no refreshments provided. I had been made aware by the bride and groom prior to the wedding weekend that this venue had a strict outside drug/alcohol policy, fine. However, Angie spent at least 5 minutes reinforcing this policy during the 1 hour rehearsal. She also added a fun new twist on the rules: absolutely no outside food allowed on the grounds. "So, be aware, if you or ANY of your guests bring outside food, alcohol, or drugs onto the property there is a $500 deduction from your deposit," Angie reinforced. The wedding: We were allowed into the venue 2 hours before the ceremony (630 ceremony, 6 arrival time for guests). I saw Angie when we first arrived, but she vanished into her office almost immediately. Pretty quickly the wedding party and guests assisting with set up were getting hungry and thirsty. Like at the rehearsal, no refreshments were provided (dont forget, NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED, otherwise we would have taken care of ourselves). A bridesmaid and I went to find Angie but she was nowhere to be found. About 10 minutes later she came out of her office and we asked her to pour a couple pitchers of beer. The bride and groom had purchased their own kegs from the venue, it was their beer to drink, right?? WRONG! "Nothing is served until a half hour before the ceremony" Angie barked and walked away. Quick math in my head, "its 5ish at this point, the ceremony is scheduled for 630...so we cant eat or drink anything for about another hour?!" And that was what happened, Angie didnt even provide water! Absolutely nothing was served until a half hour before the ceremony. At 6pm 2x750ml bottles of Cooks Brut were provided to the bridal suite (8 bridesmaids, mothers, aunts, friends) and two standard pitchers of beer were dropped off at the grooms suite (same amount of people). I had to sneak into the bridal suite to have a half a glass of subpar bubbles. Once the ceremony started, things got a little better. Angie took the locks (Im not kidding) off the beer taps and allowed one of the staff to serve us! The kitchen did a nice job on the buffet. I really enjoyed the roasted vegetables. Just as things were looking up, Angie decided it was her time to try and ruin the evening. At some point during or after dinner, Angie approached the mother of the bride and stated she had found a guest smoking pot in the parking lot. She said she needed to inform the bride and groom they had just lost $500. Thankfully, she was told to keep quiet. The groom was eventually informed but the bride didnt have to deal with Angies bs. When she was asked who was smoking, Angie refused to provide a name. I dont know how this fiasco was finally resolved, but I did hear the $500 was eventually returned. Id pay $500 not to have a problem like this brought to my attention during my wedding! I found the way Angie handled the situation absolutely ludicrous. Maybe there are other coordinators at this venue that provide a better experience. Angies sour attitude alone ruined this space. Combined with the desperate need for updates and the green pond and this a "never again" venue for me.

Lakeside Gardens was the perfect choice for our wedding. We were married mid May, and were hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but of course Mother Nature brought rain (ranging from a drizzle to a downpour), hail, thunder/lightning...so the fact that they have an indoor ceremony option as a backup was key! However, the grounds are so picturesque & sheltered by gazebos, tall trees, etc that we were still able to take photos outside; the interior of the venue also has a good amount of natural light, so our indoor photos turned out wonderful, as well. They walked us through the planning, providing tips for vendors/other items wed need to provide, and were responsive within 1-2 business days (often the same day) whether I had emailed or called them. Our coordinator, Jenna, was so professional and sweet - she made us feel valued and not just like clients. The other staff, Chris & Angie, were extremely helpful as well with questions and setting up our initial tour. And of course, props to the Chef and kitchen staff for the delicious food (both at the complimentary food tasting in March and the day itself!) and the serving staff for keeping our guests plied with food and drink at the reception. Overall, 100% would recommend if you want a beautiful venue, easy planning/coordination, friendly staff, and a day to remember!

As banquet halls go, its pretty standard. The Christmas decor was beautiful and perfect for the Christmas party we had there. The catering team was very helpful, especially regarding children food allergies. The food was decent with a wide variety of vegetarian entrées and salads. Overall a great place for an evening banquet/party location.

My daughter was married there 9/11/2016 and I will give them 5 stars! From the absolute romantic beauty of this venue, to guests raving about the delicious food and professionalism of the staff, I was completely happy and satisfied. Jenna our coordinator was great. Hats off to her and the wonderful chef at Lakeside Gardens!

We had a wedding party at this place. Outside there is the most beautiful scene, a lake with swans and a bridge to cross. This place is small but clean!
