The line had no signage, and guidance from staff came around rarely and by chance. Finally I found out it was The correct line, and no it was not moving not for a good 20 minutes and this is already well after door time. The line suddenly began moving... only to end in a giant mob in front of a few distant metal detectors, no queue, no signage, no attendants and hundreds of people already pushing in from all around. After standing there over fifteen minutes, were we alerted there was another line for those with no bags. This was our lucky break, and we got in much more quickly, now that wed finally been helped. When we finally entered it was nearly impossible to walk toward our section, due to the crowds. It literally felt over capacity, like this place isnt meant to handle the numbers (similar experience to the queue). I didnt try the food, it seems pricey but much cheaper than Seattle, (along with parking and tix etc, the one redeeming factor of Tacoma). Finally seats were very difficult to find. We had little help from any ushers and the guidance we got was rushed and unfriendly. We thought we were in the right spot only get a flashlight right in the eyes and someone shouting at me to move, and the I hadnt found the correct seats, no thanks to any ushers or clear signs. I could make out zero signage indicating the sections anywhere. Very embarrassing. Then we get to our actual seats. They were the absolute worst in the house and at the Tacoma dome I found out this is a very bad thing. Basically me and my partner were wedged on a narrow concrete ledge of a bleacher, and being seat 1 and 2 we were trapped in by a fence. Basically sitting between a wall and hundreds of people all around. I quickly had anxiety, and neck and back pain from having to stand and sit twisted, just to see the stage. I spent the whole time looking to the left. It was impossible to dance or feel any vibe or energy at all in the entire section and my section was the quickest to sit down, due to the over crowding and discomfort lol. Oh and it took forever to exit, God forbid there ever be an emergency need to do so quickly, youre screwed. I will never go to Tacoma dome again unless maybe I had general admission tickets to an artist worth enduring the venue for. But definitely not section 19B and especially not seats 1 and 2, just about any row unless you want to stare with neck twisted to the left and barely feel connected to whats going on. We also made the mistake of trying to go out pre show in Tacoma. You quickly find, they have all that parking yet not nearly enough restaurants to cater to the numbers of tourists... every restaurant in the area had extraordinary waits, well full that is. Not that much great good, but some... but truly not much to choose from. All in all it is way easier and more enjoyable to attend a show in Seattle. Nothing was easy about the experience besides parking and traffic.

As much as I loved resolution which was at the WAMU theater in seattle and had its own issues (clear bags only was NOT clear enough on the WAMU site and this policy is effing ridiculous for the TINY little wallet I had brought and had to THROW AWAY FOR THEM TO ALLOW ME IN), this one was NOT worth it. The ticket fees were insane! $20 PER TICKET!?!?! WTF?!?!?! The space had really good sound but because they had to divide the giant space in to two spaces to have two different stages, a lot of sounds mixed which really messed with the vibe. Also, they only sold beer and hard alcohol. There was no wine or champagne which I found to be utterly ridiculous. Who doesnt sell wine at an event like this??? Seriously disappointing. Also, one of the two main DJs I went to go see didnt play. Now Im understanding about someone not being able to make it, but he was literally 50% of the reason I went. Which resulted in the other DJ that was after him having an extended set which is fine, except it was EXTREMELY obvious that the DJ who had to do this was NOT prepared for a 2 hour set. Lesson learned, dont go expecting to hear the DJs you pay over $100 a ticket to see. Also the VIP swag bags did NOT make the VIP tickets worth it. I will not purchase VIP tickets again. Oh and did I mention the cost of parking? $25. I cant believe how much I flat out wasted on this event. VIP tickets were $315 after fees which were $30 a ticket, plus $25 parking. All to find out they didnt sell the only thing I like to drink. I understand some of these issues werent anything the Tacoma Dome itself can do something about but a lot of this could have been.

We went to see Roger Waters a couple of weeks ago. The show itself was amazing. However seriously marred by many different aspects. Firstly we got an Uber there and were advised to walk well away from the dome in order to get picked up as its so busy that drivers refuse to actually pick you up there. Duly noted... Then when we get in there drinks are Sooo expensive. We sat in Row 6A which was a fantastic viewpoint but when I say the seats are meant for children I am not joking. I am not talking about the bum size.. I am talking about the leg room. I am only 5ft 6 and my knees were not just touching the seat in front they were literally digging in. My husband is 6ft 2 and he was undoubtedly more uncomfortable that I. So then it comes time to leave. Hundreds of people all spued out onto the streets all milling around and traffic was at a stand still.. We walked our several blocks to where the Uber driver advised us to go and an hour after we got out we finally got picked up. Traffic by the way STILL at a stand still trying to get back on the high way. Its the worst concert access I have EVER seen. I am going to visit again for the Lady Gaga concert and am taking my young daughter and am having serious anxiety about where to park, what time to leave. Walking the streets at night with your husband is a whole different experience to being out there with your little girl.

I just left the Tacoma Dome Kendrick Lamar DAMN tour, I paid for VIP and was in the 6th row by the stage. The opener act Travis Scott let a fan stage dive and his fist/nail hit my face, cutting my above my brow and under my eye. Security sent me in circles around the show until finally he took me to medical aids. They asked if I wanted an ambulance to try and get my skin glued shut and because Im in complete shock Im trying to process everything and deliberate it. The security said they had to hurry up and get me out because the med aids were needed else were. He walked us just over to were the concert was and left is, no help getting back to our section to get our stuff and we couldnt on our own because our tickets were in our bags. I had to ask for help through another staff, and then they send the same guy who yells at me for asking for management. He said I was making it a big deal and he cant escort me everywhere. When I said I was uncomfortable and wanted to talk to someone else because he was yelling and pointing in my face he said everyone else was busy and I could call tomorrow. This was the worst night ever, this is my favorite artist and it was supposed to be the best night. I have never been talked to the way that security talked to me. I had to wait half an hour for staff to figure out his name before leaving and now Im on the way to the ER.
