One of the rudest and most sarcastic women ive ever met working at the box office last night (3/23/12) completely ruined the experience we had been looking forward to for weeks. I am a pretty lenient soul, but this person should not be working with people what-so-ever; shes a disgrace (and thats from someone whos been dealt a fair share of rudeness in the past).

Weve seen some very interesting off the wall shows here and have definitely enjoyed them. The small space pulls you into the show and keeps you in. Since the entrance & theater is located behind the coffee shop, it can easily be missed... so look out!

Incredible plays, directed by local artists. Most plays touch on interesting/sensitive issues, sometimes personal, sometimes political, sometimes both. Im never disappointed with a visit to Defunkt.

Intimate, edgy, high quality theatre in a lovely black box tucked behind a coffee house. And the Thorn bar across the street for afterwards.
