Went first week in October 2016, a bit rainy but kept the crowds away. People were very friendly except for grumpy man in "Members only" booth. Fun for an hour of train riding, kitty cat was a hit and My youngest loved the trains. Once was enough for me. If coming from Portland, take I-5 to Outlets then go east, much faster.

This is an awesome place to take the kids! You can take them on one of a handful of their trains around the park. Lots of stuff to look at and lots of picnic tables so you can have a picnic with your family while you watch the trains. Theres a small store with lots of treats and they accept donations to keep running.

This place is absolutely magical. Miniature trains you ride on, pristine grounds, and amazing staff. All this for a donation of ant amount. If you are in area on a Sunday and have kids or are a train enthusiast, this place is an absolute must!

On busy days they bring out more trains. We went labor day weekend, lines seemed long, but we didnt have wait very long to ride trains ( About 10 to 15 min).
