Took my 6-year old this past Saturday. He was really looking forward to it because he was finally 48 inches tall and would be able to go on the slides. I put his coast guard approved lifejacket on and we made our way up the stairs for the slides. I decided that I would go first so I could watch him at the bottom, and his dad would follow behind him. When I reached the bottom I moved to the side and waited for my son. He came out and immediately sank, clearly struggling to get his head above water. I rushed over and picked him up to find that he didnt have his lifejacket on. Apparently there is an unwritten rule that kids cant wear their lifejackets down the slides. I dont know the reason for this since my local community pools allow it and even The Great Wolf Lodge allows people to wear lifejackets down their slides. So the lifeguard here had forced my son to take his lifejacket off to go down the slide, but had no problem with letting my husband hold it as he went down the slide to meet us at the bottom. Next we decided to try the diving board. My husband jumped first and waited in the water as my son(wearing his lifejacket again) to jumped in too. We were called over by the lifeguard there who said that my son could not wear his lifejacket when jumping off the diving board. Heres the reason given: "When a person jumps into the water their body wants to go down but the lifejacket pulls them back up." Um,... isnt that the point of a lifejacket?

Quite a fun waterpark. Wave pool, 3 slides, etc. Its kind of a shame you cant wear a swim mask, but you can wear goggles and a nose clip for the same effect. I like the idea of being able to rent an inner tube/raft for 2 bucks(could be 1, I just dont remember), but it has problems. I rented one for the first time, remembering the code on the side. I took it out to the wave pool and relaxed for about 8 minutes before coming back. I set it down close to where I was sitting. After taking a 5 minute break, I got back up to uae it again. Needless to say, it was gone. I got in the pool again to find it. Nobody had it. Then as I swam back to the edge, I noticed some young kid, about 3rd grade. Walking across with THE SAME TUBE. Code and everything. I went up to get the tube from the kid. I told him that I rented it, and he needs to give it back. When he wouldnt budge, I tried yanking it from him. He screamed at me to give it back, and then his overprotective mom came up and yelled at me for harrassing her son for no apparent reason. I tried to explain that I rented it with my own money, but she cut me off and stormed off with her kid, taking my tube with them. And thats how I lost money to an overprotective mom and her short son with glasses. I feel there needs to be a way to make sure stuff like this doesnt happen. Nonetheless, great place.

Kids need to be 48 inches tall to do any of the fun stuff, unfortunately. My daughter who is 5, can swim laps, yet because she is below an arbitrary height requirement, she cannot do the fun stuff here. Instead of a height requirement, there should be a swimming requirement. Anyway, I knew this going in, but our pool is closed for cleaning so I gave it a shot anyway. I went on a Friday around 2 pm. The place is so busy, it is hard to get into the wave pool without being pushed around constantly. So, I was forced to stand and watch my daughter play in the below 6 area until it was time to go. They have 4 family rooms and they are not reserved for families. So, individuals literally go in there and do not come out for half an hour, it is mind blowing. There was one other family besides myself and daughter. We went in and showered off, got dressed etc. and when we came out the same family was still waiting, and we waited for 10+ minutes for a room that a single man was occupying. I wont be going back and I couldnt recommend it to anyone else. The wave pool would be fun without the crowds, for kids (it is a very small wave pool), but when it is full of adults floating on tubes, running the kids over, no thanks.

Our family truly likes this place. We have fun and have children as young as 1 and as old as 9. This is one of those places that gives the entire family an opportunity to have wholesome recreation. The only downside to it, and the reason for the "missing" star, is the lack of bathroom cleanliness. Especially the family bathrooms. These should be cleaned and monitored more closely for the basics like hand soap. The toilets can get filthy. It is understandable that they may not be impeccable due to high traffic in certain seasons, but you can actually tell they dont clean them often at all...

The wave pool was so fun! My boyfriend (27) and I (26) had a blast! I was nice being able to go into the whirl pool (big hot tub) thats only for 18+ and the lifeguard are pretty good at enforcing it if they notice young looking people in that tub. The slides are fun and genre dont have that long of lines. You have to rent the floating rings so the pool isnt filled with them which is nice (they are pretty cheap to rent though) Also its fun in the wave pool cause the waves get big and the stop for like 10 minutes and then start up again so its not solid waves the whole time!

We love doing lessons here, it is affordable and nice to see students teaching students. Their only down fall is they release the class openings before the last of the lessons are done, so we have to work around other activities my kid is in to be able to find something that fits our needs. Just kind of a hassle. Wish they left a couple slots open to see where kids land once they are done with their lessons, it would put less stress on the parents.

Our experience was OK with the exception of one thing! For this being a family place, I found it to be very disturbing when I noticed an older man wearing a thong speedo.. I would have thought someone would have said something to this guy, but apparently they didnt. A little girl behind me told her mom "I see his butt" I could tell she was also bothered by this. In a family place there really should be a standard for swim attire.

Worked here as a lifeguard. We have great staff here who are constantly trained and tested on there knowledge to know what to do in stressful situations. The aquatic park has three pools one being a wave pool. They also have three slides and a diving board. This place also has a snack shack where you can get pizza, hot dogs, candy and drinks. Overall great place to bring your kids

Great place for a fast endorphin rush. I get bored fast here as well but Im 40. Some lap swimming and water slides and Im done. Not more then an hour. Seems like the kids get bored after about an hour or so as well. Not saying thats a bad thing, the price is right. 5 bucks for an hour of good times is great. It is pretty clean as well, locker rooms are clean, water seems alright.
