Extremely apathetic, unwelcoming, and unprofessional staff. No outside food allowed, yet no whole milk for sale, just 2% chocolate milk. Crowded and only one ride can run at a time because they share a compressor/the have one crew member controlling multiple rides. My husband, myself, and my daughter visited this park today, Aug 27th. At noon we stood in line for the carousel where the extremely rude young man running the ride said it would be a 4 minute wait. 4 minutes turned into 15 but then my husband and 1 year old daughter were allowed to get on the carousel, when my husband tried to give him their tickets the crew member snipped at him and said, "Ill collect tickets once the ride is going to start." My husband shrugged this off and picked a horse for my daughter to sit on. She was excited kicking her feet, she had been on carousels before and loves them. 14 minutes later the ride hadnt started and my daughter was getting fidgety and yelling. 5 more minutes passed and the ride had not started my daughter started to fuss. Then it was start time but the crew member came up and said, "I cant start the ride if shes crying." To my husband, the interaction had made her stop fussing and my husband said, "Okay." But the crew member just awkwardly starred at my husband and now confused (not crying) daughter until my husband just took her off. The Fariswell ride conductor didnt say one word to us and the train conductor was rude and cold. Completely a disappointing family trip to Sonoma. We left and will never come back. I will not recommend friends, in fact I plan to let everyone I know about our experience.

$6.75 a train ride. $12.00 family pack gets six tickets. Rides other than train is one ticket per person. Train Town gets very busy. It helps to get there early. At the entrance is the ticket booth and three old restored railway cars. Toilets are right behind the ticket booth. There is a snack bar with not so great fast food. We take our own food and sit in the gazebo to eat. This is s great treat for younger kids and families. The park like setting occupy a few acres. The centre has two mini lakes a prettying zoo with a train track running around. The train stops by the zoo where theres a couple of Lama, goats and some geese. Take quarters for the feeding dispenser. Surrounding the track are a few smaller rides. The ferris wheel is popular. The loading area for the train is right by the front gate. Its a competitive jostle to get onboard.

Its a small little train town but my 2.5 year old enjoyed a lot. She thought it was the best thing in the world. And she enjoyed all the rides even though my husband thought it would be scary for her. You can easily spend 3 hours with the kids here. And they have a train ride that takes you into the woods and let you feed lamas. They say the train ride is 20 minutes but I think its only 5 to eight minutes ride and mostly spend time with lamas. But kids dont know the time when they are having a blast. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

This is the best miniature railroad Ive ever been at! Im also an expert on trains. I can tell Train Town is a miniature version of the New York Central System. Their logos and engines look very much alike. My favorite engine in Train Town is the Hudson 5212! Shes also my very favorite scale model locomotive in the world! She makes a great replacement for the NYC Hudsons! Shes beautiful! I also made a steam documentary on her and put it on YouTube. My YouTube name is "Dinosorable." Check out this documentary on my YouTube channel.

Went over the past weekend, had a blast with the family...place was packed and the weather was great...havent been in years, great for the kids...the rollercoaster is new, along with a few other rides...which is cool...it is noticeable that a landscaper(s) are needed through out the property once on the train...disappointed that a steam engine wasnt used (slightly bland engine instead)...thought the town was a fantastic size, MAKE SURE YOU DUCK A LOT! Watch out for the T-shirt prices! Still a great time, a fantastic memory.

A small amusement part for kids of any age. We have a special need son and we have trouble finding a place that he can get on the rides and it is the place that allow little ones with adult company. The train ride is a fun thing for the kids and I am happy to see my son having so much fun especially the train ride. It is a place designed for kids to have their little imaginations in real world and as for us is to make sure the kids have fund and safe. Friendly people and great place to take the kids.

Spent this afternoon there for my sons 4th birthday. If you love trains, its a great place. Parking is extremely limited so expect to park on an adjacent street and walk up to a block. Train ride is great, petting zoo along the ride, a good value. Other amusement rides are available. The entire park is focused on children. Adults can not ride anything but train. There is a decent gift shop and snack bar. A great place to visit.

A cute little park for the kids. No parking fee, no entrance fee just pay for the rides like a merry-go-round, mini roller coaster, flyin planes and Ferris wheel. The open-air train ride is set it up as though youre touring a small mining town. You see little bodies of water, small houses, fake men fishing, go over a few bridges and into a few tunnels l with a stop at the petting zoo. Bring a hat, sunscreen and water!

A great roadside stop for your little ones, or anyone with a fascination for trains. The main attraction is the small scale kiddie train and roundhouse, but there are a couple of other rides, games and amusements to keep you busy for an hour or two. My wife and I drove out there from San Jose when we were dating, and it was a fun little stop just for the novelty.

Small, crowded, but a lot of fun. The rides are entirely geared to the kids, but I saw a few adults having fun as well. There is a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster and even a train that takes you through the park, with a stop into a model miniature replica of a 19th old west town. Relatively inexpensive and a great day trip for the kids.

This place is the BEST. It not only has a small, steam powered train to take you through the property covered with miniature buildings from the old west along with many carnival rides that are open mostly on weekends and during the summer. Fantastic place for any little boy or girl interested in trains!

Its pretty kool place for young ones although I didnt like the fact that all the rides werent running. Maybe it was bad timing. And you couldnt bring food in. They hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream, and a few more items. I would suggest eating before arriving. And take quarters for some of the other rides.

Great for little kids (2-6) bring a lot of quarters. Almost everything here runs off quarters. There are a lot of signs about not bringing in food and with toddlers that can be a problem. The staff is young and seem upset that they have to be there...my 2.5 year old had a blast.
