If you have disposable income and dont mind funding all their construction projects and monthly promos, then this is the place for you. Oklahoma regulates their own casinos, they are not required to pay out any percentage of their profits. The slots have become progressively tighter over the 12 years and thousands of dollars Ive spent gambling here. But, the key word is "gamble"; its not an investment youre guaranteed a return on. However, it sure would be nice to play a machine for more than 5 minutes and not have to drop $50 in it before it finally hits. Its now nearly impossible to win or simply break even. Unless you want to blow $300+ at the tables or play $1, $5, or $10 slots. Any time they get a new machine in, they set it to the machines factory payout intervals, as required by the gambling commission. Then when theyre sure the Inspectors are gone, they tighten the machine back up. Just watch, youll see a line of new slot machines side by side (or back to back); if the machines are relatively new, every seat at those machines will be filled. Look again in a month, every seat is empty and people avoid those machines like a plague. Theyll sit empty for a few weeks until they replace it with another "new" set of machines. Rip off, rinse, and repeat. Its clear they care nothing about their regular customers/players/guests, whatever they call us nowdays. "Fools" is more appropriate. After 12 years of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt,Im done with this place. I would rather drive 1.5 hours to Indigo Sky or Downstream than continue to encourage these scam artists at Cherokee West Siloam Springs. I sincerely hope they are subjected to a Federal Investigation and shut down. They make over a quarter BILLION per year in income, and that profit increases every year. You see the shiny new hotel, and now the housing edition being built directly behind the casino...? That money is clearly not going back to the players who made the Casino what it is today. Their buffet used to be one of the best around, now its sub-par, overpriced, and the food tastes like its been sitting out since the night before. Id rather go down the road to Callahans restaurant where the food is fresh and made-to-order. Avoid this place at all costs, save your money and salvage your pride.

$26 buffet. For $26, you would expect some dang good food. How wrong you would be. To compare this food to cafeteria food would be an insult to cafeteria food. I came here a couple years ago and it wasnt half bad. $12 for the buffet, or you could upgrade for endless crab legs (maybe more seafood too, I cant remember). Noe you have to pay the upgrade price. And this time, they were out of crab legs. Did that change the ridiculous $26 price? Nope. At $12 You expect cheap, mass produced food. But at $26 you best be getting your moneys worth. Here you were not. The fried oysters were soggy and chewy. The ribs where like rubber. The fried chicken had no crunch. A good percentage of the clams werent even opened. On top of all of this, the food was all luke-warm at best. By the time you put anything on your plate and got back to your table, it is only a few degrees above room temperature. Not even the rolls were warm at all! Im convinced everything wasnt being served out of any actual heated container, just a metal bin. As if all of that wasnt bad enough, the food is bland as bland gets. No seasoning or spices on anything. No salt, no pepper, nothing. I have never tasted more bland food in my life. $26 should get you a pretty decent meal anywhere you go in this area. Not here though. To top it all off you dont even get access to a drink fountain. You have to wait for the understaffed waiting crew to bring you refills. The biggest insult of all is that they have a tip field when you initially pay to get into the buffet. What a joke. Never going back here again, thats for dang sure.

At first my first time experience was great! My husband and in laws was on a card table so decided to go sit at the bar and watch the band, which was awesome. The bartender Jacob was great! After that my experience went down hill!!!! I felt as if I started to be harassed by the manager. When I got my first drink I was IDd by Jacob then about 5 minutes late another gentlemen randomly came to ID me again which was okay, then about 10-15 minutes later the same guy came back and asked for my ID AGAIN!!!! Okay now Im starting to agervated. So he walked off with my ID which is my military Id and the manager came back with it and informed me that they could not accept my military ID!!!! And this is after they have served me a bottle and a pitcher, so she then made me leave the bar to go get a license. I then had to go get my husband from the card table, to walk with me out to our truck. Then she finally realized she was wrong about not accepting my ID and did apologize I then told its okay but next time find out your rules for sure and save the next customer from the embarrassment she caused me she then informed me that she did not embarrass me (how can you tell me how you made me feel) then she proceeded to tell me that its the law to have my ID on me at all time ( well yes you are correct but not my license ) so all in the end she just thaight she was all right and I was completely wrong and stupid!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!

When I hear the name Cherokee Casino, I think of the word "crooks". This place has to have the tightest slot machines that I have ever played. I think it is because there is no competition nearby and I hear it is much cheaper for them to pay the fines then to have legit slot machines. Everytime a new slot machine comes in, it is set to the factory legal standards the first couple of weeks to lure people in and then they tighten it way up after the inspectors leave. The buffett use to be really good but whatever you do, never eat their late night buffet on the weekends because it is nasty. They are suppose to have a cook late night to make fresh eggs, but they are never to be found and the limited food they have out, has flies all over it and many of the items are as hard as a rock. Save your money and take a nice trip to Vegas instead of letting them steal all of your money and not care if you are having a good time at all. All they want is your money and they could care less about the customer.

I went there to play the slots at their smoke shop and main casino. Not really planning on gambling to win a bunch. I just wanted to enjoy playing awhile. After the upgrade to the computer software; which was done last week on both places, the smoke shop slots are nothing but money eaters! Beware! No more fair play for the bets! The quarter and fifty cent slots in the main casino are even tighter! No enjoyment to be had at this place unless you are extremely lucky. Even then, there are ceilings set on the amounts of money on the few machines that are allowed to hit in order to bait people into that area to loose. It was crowded and plenty of drunks running around. You could tell the riff~raff and roamers from people ther to play, party, hear the band, eat, etc. I wont be going back for quite some time. If this casino were bound by Las Vegas rules on payout ratio and game manipulation, there would be no gaming or license.
