My friends come here every Wednesday night for Live Band Karaoke and I join them whenever Im in town. Im always happy to give my money to the locally owned places in my neighborhood. Also, Northside is awesome. I was born a raised here so, yeah, Im a little bias. Karaoke starts anywhere between 9:30p and 10:30p. Theres a somewhat limited list of songs to choose from, but you probably know and want to sing all of them. I believe they play three sets with breaks in between. Its pretty popular, so you might want to get there early and sign up. This place is surprisingly large. The room you enter into is your basic bar, the room behind that has two pool tables and the room behind that has a small stage, where karaoke happens.

Have you ever seen neighborhood bars in movies where every is friendly and knows each other? Like Cheers? Well NS Tavern is that place. It doesnt have the best service or selection... but the prices are excellent and free live music is always great. The courtyard is where the fun is, especially in the winter when they have a fire going.

Ive gone here for YEARS. The drink prices are awesome (get there for Happy Hour! Every night!). Last night was my first night at their SexyTime Live Karaoke and I was super impressed with not only the band, but the very supportive crowd regardless of the talent! Good vibes for a bar

Pretty much just a great bar. Nice courtyard and inside space, the sounds guys arent very good though which makes any musicians they book sound sub-par. The space makes it great for large groups of people though, especially on weekdays when it wont be as crowded.

Drove down from Columbus to see Mothership and was really impressed with the venue! Great beer selection, great sound, clean and decently lit for a bar, super nice patio, good parking options in the area, too. Ill definitely be back!

Takes so long to get an overpriced drink. Just do what i do... bring a flask filled with your favorite beverage and sip it with a smoke on the beautiful patio while the over purfumed suburbanites uber themselves back to Mason.

Day 4 of cross country trip brought us to Cincinnati and we wanted a local place feel. Awesome beer on tap and live music provided memories and a spot I will remember for awhile. A for sure next time Im in town.

The stage area is really nice and actually has its own bar so you dont have to go all the way out front for drinks. The only negative is they dont serve food, but you can bring in stuff from nearby places.

Twice now Ive heard horror stories about the owner/manager of Northside Tavern. Thanks to them, I eat elsewhere. You cant run a business if you speak to your customers retarded. Hope your business fails

Used to be the best music venue in the city until MOTR took over in OTR. Still near the top, though, and gloriously large with a huge outdoor area. Many good memories here. Nice full double bar setup.

Large back area that also holds events. Pool table. They have a Sunday potluck that you can bring a dish and enjoy others. Very cool community feel m. Also have good draft beer prices
