Played there for years, and still havent learned my lesson.....Ownership is only out for the quick buck, not the long haul, which would show the decline of this course. Had 1st tee off time 7:45 on a tuesday morning with my father, which we have done all summer at various courses. We were running a good pace and hit the turn at 9:15, played #10, and came to a complete stop on #11 due to ownership putting off 4 foursomes off the back. We continued to play at a very slow pace through #14 until we couldnt take it anymore and walked off the course.. This course is known for doing this, and takes a great experience and makes it miserable.

Booked a wedding at their sister Country Club "Prestwick" right down the street. Its ran by and owned by the same people as Raintree, giving them a large security deposit. Needed to cancel because I took my dream job in another country and my fiance would not join me. (Wedding cancelled) I gave Prestwick a nine-month cancellation notice and now they will not refund my security deposit. So if you intend on using them for an event make sure you go through with it because they will not refund your money for a cancelled event even though you give them plenty of notice. Shame

Challenging course, hazards placed strategically throughout each hole. Fairways groomed nicely and devoid of bare spots. Greens smooth and well maintained. Hole locations at time played were random, adding a bit more sport to each green. Roughs trimmed back good, no lost balls on the occasional errant shot. All in all very nice day of golf. Staff pleasant and helpful. Sausage sandwich at the turn spicy and delicious. Just what one wants when a quick bite is needed. Will definitely return, may become a favorite.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Raintree this past weekend. WOW is all I can say. Everything was perfect and exactly how I asked it to be. John and his staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. John is reliable and ensures that your special day is exactly the way you want it even down to the fine details. John and his staff are wonderful. We are so glad we chose Raintree for our wedding venue. I would highly recommend Raintree to anyone for future weddings or ceremonies.

This course is one of the gems in the area. Beautiful scenery and abundant space from side to side. Strategic placement of water and sand. It is one of the best kept courses in the area. It has a nice club house with a bar / restaurant.

Sprinklers were coming off and on during play. One turned on as I was approaching my ball and I took a direct hit to face and chest. Had to play 5 to 6 holes soaking wet until I dried put.

Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape. However a bit of an issue with the inconsistency of the greens. Greens were slower on the back nine than they were on the front nine.

Would rate the course better but they let a very slow 5-some in front of our 24 golfers. Over a 5 hour round. We wont be back.
