Civilization is officially going.... I pay good hard earned money to play golf with friends in an atmosphere where manners n etiquette are part of the sport. Sunday was backed up n everyone including my friend n I, had to wait on the players in front of us, so that you do not hit into people n potentially injure or kill them. We are on the green at a par 3 on the 3rd hole, when a ball lands just a few feet from both our heads. There was no yelling "fore" or even when the young uneducated very brass n cocky kid came up. He did not apoligize, but instead proceeded to insult us n started b.s.-ing n cussing. That in turn caused me to lose it n start cussing back. Things got a bit heated n we called a ranger to explain n usually someone like that would have been thrown off the course n told not to come back. But the ranger spoke to him confirmed our story n just gave a little lesson on the rules of etiquette, which clearly the kid knew but just didnt care..... We had gotten so livid, we decided we couldnt enjoy our golf round after that, so we went to the clubhouse to get a raincheck. The front desk managers advice was "get over it n play out your round" .... which is all fine if the kid had yelled "fore" or said he was sorry or in a sincere way explained himself. But for that kid to come at us purposely hitting into us n insulting us n cussing like it was our fault that he hit into us n then have the front desk manager act like we had just paid admission for a slip n slide at a walmart n we were overreacting, not wanting to reinburse our money or even give a fair amount raincheck. This course is not a real golf course n the management on this past sunday does not belong on a golf course but rather on a slip n slide at an amusement park.

Just played a charity outing at Brookledge this past weekend. I was more than surprised. The staff were all very friendly and acted like they were generally happy that I was there playing golf. In the Northeast Ohio area that is hard to find. The course was more than well maintained for a public course and with the massive amounts of rain we have had this spring I am shocked at how well the course looked. The greens were pristine, fairways almost looked un-played and the rough was easy to get out of. There are 4 holes in a row on the back 9 that I wanted to just pull up a chair and sit. They were so gorgeous. After playing 3 private country clubs and 6+ public courses in the area I can honestly say this has been the best one out of them all.

Very nice place to take the kids to play putt putt. Scenery is very nice the kids love the waterfalls and going through a little cave. and getting their balls out of the water with the nets. They also have out door batting cages. Several speeds to choose from. They have a nice hitting range for golfers. Then there is a skate park for all those skaters and people who skateboard.

well maintained course and greens. fairly challenging with thick rough and quick greens. took us about 2.5 hours to golf 9 due to the slow group ahead of us and after talking with the group behind us who golf there regularly they said it was always like that

Pretty course and greens are maintained well but a constant flow of leagues and no monitoring from any ranger makes this course unbearably slow. Every time Ive come out its a minimum 4.5 hours (by myself).

Excellent practice facilities. The course doesnt fit my eye, but it has the fastest public greens within 100 miles. The staff is always very polite and attentive.

Rangers are the worst, god forbid you do not fit their thought proper attire, though I can hit the ball better than most.
