Nice atmosphere, new slots, everything was good until customer service came into play. I had some bills that were damaged but still usable, could see security features and over half easily remained etc... On Sunday night, the cashier exchanged one and told me to bring back the few I had left in the hotel and theyd exchange them with no problem. Being that Im from west coast and my bank is out there as well, this was great news for me and my family. The next morning, I made another trip down to Hollywood, only to find a disinterested cashier and rude player services supervisor. They were entirely more interested in whatever conversation preceded my arrival than to deal with me at all. They told me they cant help me and when I explained that they had done so a few hours earlier and that the staff had suggested that I return, their response was to roll their eyes, tell me “ no they didnt” and then quickly turn away. I understand this was a Monday morning and they may be tired but seeing that there was nobody else in line , no other customer situations to resolve, they couldve at least looked into the situation a little more instead of dismissing me and calling me a liar. After the obscene amount of money I have spent with almost zero returns it seems the least they could do is show a little respect on a slow Monday morning. (Not to mention if theres any question on whether or not the event happened it seems the casino would be the place where audio and visual transcript should be readily available.). Unfortunately I dont think there are any other gaming options in this town and perhaps they can get away with disrespecting customers. This experience is not what I paid for and I certainly will not be returning. I will however gladly share this incident whenever the topic of Hollywood gaming comes up.

This evening was my first and regrettably, my last visit to this facility. My partner and I obtained new member cards this visit as it was our first. We were instructed to insert the card into the machine, enter our PIN, then we would have a USPIN free credit in which the amount would be determined at the time of spin. However, I tried to use my card at five different machines. My card would not read. It kept saying to reinsert the card. I tried it several different times, flipped it and reinserted multiple times. Only one machine read it. When I tried to use my free spin, it just said, "Keep playing". It worked just fine for my boyfriend. I began getting agitated, so I went back to Player Services. They said it could have been my cell phone. She issued a new card and told me to utilize the service button on the machine if it still didnt work. I walked away with the card in my hand and my handbag on the opposite side (my phone was inside of it). We went to three other machines. It only worked on one and again, the free spin was not working. The touchscreen calibration was also off. My boyfriend used his free credit and we left. We are now in transit to Miami Valley Gaming, which we have had a positive experience with in the past. I do not feel as though I should have to waste an hour of my time attempting to spend my money. I will not recommend this place to others, nor will I return.

For Dayton area, Ill give it 5 stars, which I never do. I just went there yesterday on Belmont Race Day out of New York. Last leg of the Triple Crown. I was there for all the races. It really is nice. I didnt play the slot machines, but that floor is like Vegas. Even had a band playing behind the bar in the evening. Why go to Indiana of Vegas when you have this. Nice looking race track also. I think this place will only get bigger and better. Close by on Wagoner Ford Road is Kittyhawk Golf Course and Ramada Inn with indoor pool. This would make a nice vacation spot. Dayton needed this, and I hope it creates jobs for not just here, but surrounding business to grow around this, and help cab drivers and such. I also felt very safe due to the very large casino workers in jackets and ties. More of a casino than an old run down racetrack.. The Casino people were nice, and so were other customers. One guy said he didnt sleep all night knowing he was coming here to play the horse races. Another nice man talked to me about the horses. One man farther down was on the right jockeys early, saying the Ortiz Brothers are bad, and he won, he was on it....So with my wife passed away, I came alone, but I didnt feel alone.... ...For The Dayton / Huber Heights area of Ohio, I think Sinatra would say this is one high class swinging joint.

Been there four times...if you are going to have fun with friends and budget a certain amount of money without crying about it...go. These games are regulated to spin clean...no strategies...just have fun...why would you complain about something you or the casino has no control over. Video Poker is the best payout of any slot but they dont have it. Google how to play slots or dont whine about loosing a little money. Been going to casinos all my life in Las Vegas...if you know how to stop when you have spent your budget...you can have some fun. If you happen to hit a win great...I hit $400 last time and quit. So quit when you win or dont complain. Nice facility for a small town. I do have control over where I eat and I am VERY disappointed that there is no buffet at least once a week...a casino is NOT a casino without a buffet...big mistake on their part. People like to eat and gamble. Went one Friday evening to have a nice dinner and play some slots and had the prime rib special upstairs and it was terrible!! Had to send it back...killed the expectation of a nice evening with dinner and some fun. I like the bonus club card money sent in the mail. Band is GREAT. Makes is fun. People you are not going to get rich at a casino...its just for fun...hellooooo.

Somethings wrong. The place needs investigated. Can easily blow through 200+ in a 1/2 hour betting low or high. Many things in the place dont work. like soap dispencers, ticket readers card readers atms. soda is always mixed wrong. Bathrooms always have pee on the floor. Greeters need to great instead of talking to each other and hanging out. The food cashiers are grouchy. Not classy at all. Never get any free play or promo. Need to tell people to move on instead of sting at machines with no money in them. Or limt them to 1 machine when busy. I have called and talked to a superviser about these things and got blown off. I have been going to this place every weekend for the over a year and today is my last visit. I wil go down the interstate from now on where I can make $200 last a few hours. One time over a year ago I was moving around between 3 machines and was doing good then a maintenance guy came up and put his card in each one entered pin number and after that all 3 machines quit paying. IThink that is Pretty odd since electronic slots are suposed to be random.
