Yes their store is a little messy, and yes it is not the best stocked in terms of equipment, but that is not what this store is all about. This store is about the fish and used tanks. Some of the tanks do seem overpriced, but I bought a used tank with hood and stand for $600 dollars. It was 120 gallon Long tank, and doing some research showed a set up like mine would cost me well over two grand. So in terms of overpriced used tanks, you get what you paid for. The owner of the store also deals with custom tanks and his fish store is really a minor part of his whole operation. He has offered to help me set my tank up and has been friendly and helpful when I had the tank on a pay program so I could purchase the tank. Over all some of the fish I have seen looked a little unhealthy, but no more so than any other fish store. They do seem to be able to get the fish no chain store can get, so they get my money for that alone. This is an excellent store for the knowledge and helpful employees, but dont go expecting to get every thing you need to start a tank. He has the basics, this store is for people into the hobby already and want to dive more deeply into it. Not for beginners, but the friendly staff will easily coach a newbie up and have them running a fish tank like a pro in a matter for days! I will say that sometimes the staff are not very helpful in terms of asking questions. They always seems more occupied with other issues outside of the store than the people right in the store. If you can get over that and you know what you are doing, they can get you any fish you want! They will help you once you get them off the phone or if you catch them on a good time when they are not busy with outside issues (Like taking care of customer tanks). It can be a little intimidating and I wish the owner would work on his customer service a little more. Still VERY knowledgeable staff and a very helpful place!

I stop here occasionally to check out the gigantic shark tank and uncommon fish, and to occasionally buy a fish or two. They have a really good selection of fish. There are a few reasons why I dont buy much from this store, though. First, I have only been greeted two or three times out of the 15+ times I have entered the store. On one occasion an employee actually rolled his eyes when I asked for assistance, although I dont think he works there any more cause I havent seen him since LOL. Second, they never seem to have what I need as far as supplies go. Theres a little of this and a little of that but never quite what I need. The store in general seems cluttered with dirty, overpriced used tanks and equipment, and many of the stock tanks need a good cleaning. All in all its a good store, but with potential to be a great store! I will always stop in now and then for the very unique selection of fish, but I wont expect a warm welcome hahaha.

Absolutely fantastic first visit . Salesperson opened early cause we were outside waiting with our kids. Told us to look around and he would be with us after he was done with routine open up procedure . Got with us in less then ten minutes and spent 45 minutes educating us and never tried to salesmen us into purchasing things. We will go back as soon as we finish sterlizing our tank as he suggested. Instead of selling us some bull crap sterlizing agent he said over the counter bleach would work just fine . Glad to have such a great business in our community . I will agree the walk by window shopping experience is not there . You need to go in to see their amazing collection including a massive shark tank

The customer service is almost top of the line could be better. They are extremely knowledgeable about Saltwater tank keeping and have plenty of reading material for a person to read. The store was a little bit disorganized but everything could be found around the like items. Prices were low and high on most things. The fish for the most part are healthy. Overall I was impressed with the stores and might get a saltwater tank from them.

I just came in yesterday and it was like heaven on earth for me. I am a huge fish junkie and the staff was very nice and there selection was spectacular! But the center piece for me was the 17,000 gal shark tank with 3 black tip reef sharks and a bumblebee grouper! So i hope this helps anyone looking to buy some fish, a tank, or supplies!

I usually enjoy this store.. but $100 for a green bird wrasse!? The prices are not consistent with the market (Wet Pets has the same fish, same size, for $45; Ive never bought a green bird wrasse for more than $50). This morning I arrived at noon (their posted time for opening), but they didnt open until nearly 12:30.

Ive always been greeted by the employees, they dont constantly bother you when your walking through the store, Ive yet to see a dirty tank, they have an awesome selection of fish, theyll order things for you, and both the axolotl and the fire eel I got from here are healthy.

Staff was friendly but the selection was awful and the fish they have show clear signs of stress as nocturnal and shy fish were in tanks with out hiding place and several tanks had dead and decaying fish in them like maintenance has been neglected for a while

i ordered some cut to size cell cast acrylic from them for a 240 gallon 2x2x8 and the top and bottom where cut an extra inch to big.. ever see a tank with a half inch or so of slop hangin off the top and bottom? bottom line bad craftsmanship and poor cs.

One of the best places to buy fish, lots of trade-in fish come in which I like the most because they are usually a lot bigger than the fish that are shipped in due to the high price. Fish here are either lower or right on when it comes to price :)

Really cool place. Used to be into keeping fish and they always had some really cool stuff. Stock seems to be a little lesser than it used to be but still some cool species to keep. Shark tank, turtle and the macaw are always cool to see.
