I am just beginning my salt water aquarium, I visited this store about 3 days ago and the guy seemed nice enough but was smoking in the place and you could tell he had been drinking. My boyfriend wanted to check it out today so I figured why not. When we went he was screaming in the back of the store and acted like we were sort of a pain. I then noticed a little damsel getting torn apart by 3 other fish in one of the tanks so I told the owner. He walked over and goes "theyre picking on him because hes dead." I said no hes clearly breathing and I just watched him swim across the tank hes trying to get away. He said, "would it make you feel better if I took him out. I said well yes at least hell have a chance then. The owner then took the fish out of the tank and turns to me and goes "there" then turns to his pond where the turtles and catfish live and tossed the little fish in there to be eaten. Not only did he not care for his fish but basically mocked my concern. I immediately left and will not be returning. The tanks are filthy anyways and his prices are very high, they are not expressly marked either, he just sort of spouts them off as he see you looking.

Aquatic Interiors has been great from the beginning for me! Their many years of experience shows every time Ive dealt with them. I had a saltwater aquarium years ago that was a very disappointing and hard to maintain, but I thought Id try again. I purchased a 125 gallon tank and stand and had very little knowledge or experience...but they helped me turn it into a stunning saltwater reef aquarium that is a beautiful addition to my home and fairly easy to maintain. They came out to my house, planned the whole system and set it all up. And what a system it is...top of the line with the latest in aquarium innovations! There have been many advancements in aquarium technology in the last few years...and Aquatic Interiors seems to be on top of them all. Anytime I have a question or problem, I can talk right to the owner and he always has the time to discuss possible ideas and solutions. They have a great selection of fish, corals, plants, rocks, etc. and the knowledge and honesty to tell you if something youd like to put in your aquarium may not work well with your existing situation/set-up, and to suggest alternatives. Highly recommended!

The owner "Steve" is a crook. He will attempt to sell you anything you dont need, and believes customers are visiting his store to serve him. The first time I visited his store to purchase a product, I called ahead to ensure he had it in stock. When I arrived, its price had been inflated to $20 more than he had quoted the week prior. When I commented on the price change, he said "supply and demand, man." On another visit, he attempted to sell me a burned out LED bulb. Fortunately, I insisted we test it first. Dont bother visiting if you dont plan to give him your money, he has no time for non paying browsers and enforces a no-returns policy. He regularly talks down to customers as if they are know-nothings, this is doubly likely if he has been drinking in his front office. All I can assume is that this is a (struggling) pet project, run by a small man with no concepts of customer service or social ettiquette. I will never return. Furthermore, I will instruct any customers of mine to be wary of his practices when I do not have a product/supply they need.

The owner of this place was such a jerk. He hardly had any stock in there. When I told him I was starting a reef tank and looking for a chromis damsel he started giving me this speech of how I did everything wrong and stuffed something in my hands to use first. He then pushed me over to a tank to show me a something and literally pushed my mother out of the way. I was livid! I drove 40 miles to check out this place and I wouldnt recommend it to ANYONE; advanced or beginners. If I had a camera I would file a lawsuit against his physical rudeness and almost pushing my mother over.

I bought $150 worth of equipment from this guy. I was planning on buying an entire saltwater setup, but realized this place had a sketchy vibe. Im not new to the hobby and it was clear his prices were unfair. I tried to return the items I bought and he said that he didnt have cash. HE WROTE ME AN IOU ON A BUSINESS CARD. (litterally wrote "IOU $80") I will be going back to retreive my cash soon. Well see if this guy honors his garbage practice of business. I will be sure let everyone know!

My wife and I stopped in for our first time just to see what they have and this guy comes up and asks us what he can do for us. We said we were just looking around and he acted like we were wasting his time. He actually threw his hands up in the air and walked away. Go to Fish City in Barberton for freshwater or Ocean Rift in North Canton for salt water. Dont stop here and waste this guys time.

no customer service, and very dirty tanks and freshwater fish were very sickly looking, selections were extremely limited and what fish were there looked sad and sickly. Drove about 45 minutes to check this place out and was very disappointed. I was quite misled by the website. i do not like to make wrong reviews but. i was very very disappointed.

Worst experience Ive had while in the saltwater hobbie. The worker, Steve took full advantage of the fact that I was new to setting up saltwater aquariums and sold me pieces for 30$ that I later found I could buy for 10$ or less. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU THERE!! Please research and look around before STEVE hustles you!

Recently got back into fish keeping and stopped in to look around. Large variety of fish both fresh water and salt water. Beautiful display tanks in the front. Cool guy that obviously has years of experience in the business. Highly recommend for practical advice and info. Overall great experience.

Steve took care of setting up my kids tank in his kindergarten classroom. Not only was he professional but he made the set up a learning experience that the kids still talk about. Hes easy to work with and I highly recommend him. You are not going to find a better onsite fish guy than Steve.

Great place to get instruction on fresh and saltwater setups. Keep in mind this is a small business offering years of experience. This is not an online retailer like Amazon so expect to pay more products. Its worth it due to the advice and service you will receive.

Filthy store and you will not get a polite answer. The owner has zero couth and very limited to choose from. I was going to purchase a part he had a decent price but my 14 year old told me no do not give him any money.
