If you are looking for a 0 BS place to do business this is the local reef store for you! Ive been coming to Boardroom for about 3 months now and I get nothing but respect and understanding from these guys. Nick is very knowledgeable when it comes to reef keeping he has helped me along the way and always takes his time with me regardless how full the store is, I can say the same thing about Mark (the owner) hes always there with his team of experts and is willing to spend time talking with you and addressing an issues no matter how big or small you may be having with your reef set up. Recently I asked for a specific type of rock he went above and beyond to get this rock for me and was courteous enough to call me to let me know the rocks are in and he has not opened the box so I can have first pick talk about customer service!! These are the same guys that did not allow me to buy fish or coral because my tank was not read what does this mean to you and me? They are not after your money the want to make you a long term family member! (They sold me corals and fish after a positive water test) I live in Lehigh about 45 min form this shop an hour on bad day, and I never fail to drive all the way from home to get this service not because I dont have one closer or they are the cheapest in town but because they love on the customer keep up the great work guys! The owner of this store (Rich) is very friendly and knowledgeable. I can suggest no one better in Southwest Florida to get information from. He will take the time to explain anything, even after his shop should be closing. On the flip side of this, he has no one else on his staff who knows anything about saltwater. Each of his staff members (with the exception of the young woman) has said suggested things to me that would have had disasterous results. You have been warned. His selection of coral frags is usually pretty good, and I have had good luck getting them to "color up" under good lights and proper water chemistry. On the other side of this, the fish in the store rapidly deteriorate after he gets them, and I have had bad luck keeping his fish alive after getting them home. This has been a newer occurance, traditionally this was one of the best places to get fish. I dont know if his sources have changed or what. To be fair, one of my friends loves this store and has had very few problems with his livestock. The store is tiny, cramped and tanks are not easily viewable. The store is hard to find, the other review covers the mapping deficiency adequately. However, this is a great place to get used equipment and the prices for pretty much everything are pretty reasonable.

They have a great selection of both marine and freshwater fish and supplies. I have bought freshwater plants here on multiple occasions; I have never had any parasites come with them and they are always very healthy. We just bought a 75 gallon tank and stand with a used sump from these guys and the setup is going well so far. They always have great advice and they always seem to be adding new stock to their store. There are bigger shops in town but none of them have the customer service of Boardroom. I hope people keep trying them out so they can expand even more.

Very crappy fish store!!!!!! Way over priced and sucky customer service. There are better fish stores around than this crap hole. I wish i could give them negative 5 star rating lol.
