this store has a great freshwater selection. The saltwater selection is very variable. sometimes there is an amazing selection of fish and inverts (for the limited space they have), other times it will be kinda sad. at times they get some very nice anemones. fish are somewhat more expensive than other area stores, but I have had good luck with the livestock I have bought from here. Coral selection is better than most area stores. The usual frags and break-off sections look bad and arent cheap. staff can be very friendly if not too busy, but they can also be very dismissive. The couple who seem to own the store are very knowlegable and seem to enjoy they do, hired staff have been sub-par. definately worth a visit if you are in the area. btw - must be headed north on del prado to enter their lot.

This store has the best selection of Tanganyikan cichlids I have found in the Ft Myers/ Cape Coral area so far. They also usually have a good selection of show quality fishes, adult South American cichlids, and sucker fishes. I have received sound advice from them, and they are responsible about the way they sell their fish; they wont let you walk out with fish if they suspect your system isnt cycled or being taken care of. They have a wide variety of saltwater fish and inverts, and I would probably buy from them if I kept saltwater tanks.

Great place! Always have clean tanks and evenly spaced fish not everything piled into one tank. Everyone there will always steer you in the right direction and are always willing to help and even offer water testing with purchases. Great prices on tanks and other large equipment that otherwise would cost an arm and leg to ship but get shipped to the store at no added cost to the customer which was a big + when buying my tank from them. I can always count on ARC!

fish are WAY over priced once i bought a little hippo tang from there and died the day after my parameters were spot on for the little tiny hippo it was $59 and i went the day acter gave my water sample and they didnt even give me store credit they just said do you want another one but it will be full price

Very helpful, went in knowing almost nothing, came away... well, knowing only a bit more, but repeated trips have kept me on track preparing my first tank. They are unfailingly helpful. I visited many stores shopping for the best balance of patience and knowledge, and this seems to be it.

Slow service. The gal working there was friendly, but to put it mildly, the older guy there is an as*hole. Gave them a second chance, and he proved himself to be just that again! Cant even say thank you to a customer? Never again. Boardroom now gets all of my business!

fish and went to 4 other locations and came back here. The little lady in there set me up with a tank and everything I needed. Every week I go by and she informs me on what I should be doing and were my my tank should be. Next week I go back for fish I cant wait.

Brady and her Husband are awesome, they dont try to sell you anything that they dont think you could take care of. Brady always recommends the corals and fish that will thrive in my tank and shes always right! I love going into their store.

Called with a BASIC question about fishtank cycling..dude that answered knew NOTHING about the most fundamental aspects of aquarium care!!! Scary considering they are a SPECIALTY aquatic store..they should have at least basic knowledge.
