Thunder Road is a fun, relaxing place for some entertainment in Fargo. Its family oriented so no alcohol is served, but they do have a snack bar & offer bottled beverages. We played the first 18 hole course of mini golf. Theres also a second 18 hole course that we did not play. The holes surround a large volcano structure with water running out of it that becomes streams going through some of the holes. The golf course is of the natural themed variety, no windmills or other out of place obstacles, just rocks & water. The course is fairly well maintained, although there are spots were the greens seem unintentionally bumpy & uneven. The challenge is average or a little on the easy side for most holes. In addition to mini golf Thunder Road also offers batting cages, go carts, laser tag & a video game area thats mainly geared towards children with a lot of coupon redemption type games, but some shooters or racing style games for older kids or adults. Prices seem to be the about average for this type of place in my experience. 18 holes of mini golf for two people was $13 & the one video game we played was $1 per play.

The Go Karts are fun, but not very realistic, they let a whole row to the left go before the right row, so really, no one ever wins. The track is not very wide, so expect to go 2 wide at best. If someone is terrible, and wipes out, they stop the race to get them back on course, but they dont tack that down time back onto the time you pay for, so, be forewarned. The mini golf course, is poorly maintained, even Tiger Woods wouldnt be able to sink a 3 foot put on some of these holes, the very last 17th and 18th holes were like 10 ft long, bland, flat, and sucked, no effort. Id go again for go karts, the girls behind the counter didnt really seem interested at all in working, sitting down behind the counter, lazy.

Dont leave your "tweeners" unsupervised....loads of teenager hassling and bullying kids in the 10-12 year old range. When the kids complained to management that they were being hassled, the ladies at the desk said, "what are we supposed to do about it?" When I called the corporate office to report the incidents the next day, I was told that I could hardly expect teenaged employees to say anything to the teenagers causing the problems.

Fargos best family attraction hands down. If you are in fargo looking for something to do in the summer this is the place. The go cart track is clean and fast, the carts are all in good working order and modern. They have a good arcade and the prices on everything are reasonable.

They treat you right here the manager let me exchange my go kart tickets in for Lazer tag I just had to pay the difference.... great costmer service.... thanks thunder road will definitely be back next time we are in Fargo with the kids

Minturn golf, batting cages, go carts, laser tag, and ticket games! Make sure to hit the charity event every June to get tickets for 3 dollars each, otherwise it is expensive, which is the reason for only 4 stars.

We always have a great time here. I love that they updated the arcade games and my husband turns into a child when we come here. I wish they offered more food options but I understand they arent a restaurant.
