This bar is picky if you do not pay a cover charge as I was not allowed to be served nor any of the other friends that showed up with me. We showed up just a few minutes after the cover charge ended and we were not served. To top it all off, because they were not going to serve us we were told to leave. The worst part was we werent even intoxicated and the reason we were told to leave was because the one who was ordering everyones drinks "slurred a word" and therefore they thought we were all drunk. This wasnt correct and we were not given a chance show that we werent intoxicated. But we were not given a chance to do so and we were kicked out. My friends and I have been to this bar many times and we do not understand what happened. We will never be going back to this place. If you want a good time we fully recommend that you find anther bar other then the Windbreaker for the night.

Worse experience ever this club or bar what ever you want to call it .... Security kick me out because I was drinking off my wife cup saying I cant do that so they made me pay another additional price for a drink and when my wife say taste this drink I taste it the security say I have to leave Im like she told me to taste it ... Lucky my friend dad a critic I told him about my situation he was shock to hear that experience so all my friends and I had to leave this bar is thumb down I kno real clubs and bar down south and north the windbreak rules and management is very bad and suck...

Have gone to the windbreak several times. Every time the bathroom has been digusting, the bar is dirty and under staffed. Took over 30 minutes to get served which forced me to purchase more then 1 drink in fear that I wouldnt get served again. I am usually a patient customer and do not yell at servers for service. However when my patience ran thin and I waved to a server I was given a rude look and still took several minutes for service. With the number of bars in the F/M I suggest picking another.

I was very disgusting from what I witnessed last night. 3 nicely dress people came in to have a good time. Just to be harassed by security. These people came in to have a drink sat down and relax. To see management come and kick them out for NOTHING. For a drink the guy wasnt even drinking. You guys at windbreak are STUPID. And thats profiling... FYI... Come to find out it was the mans birthday WOW windbreak....

I seen some poor management early this morning 6/9/17 11:40 - 12:30 and decided I had to say something. How dare you guys kick that fella out for sipping some of his womens drink. You know we in Fargo dont except profiling. He didnt do a thing for him to be told to leave. Yet you had him pay for a drink that wasnt even his. Shame on you guys. I will be taking this to the press.

Well Im not going there if their kicking out people for no reason and profiling NOPE. And I keep hearing their drinks are just pure weak. I let my husband sip from my cup all the time, so you mean to tell me that if he does we will get kicked out. Son of a B$&@H poor management doesnt get you now where. Im sorry to the Birthday man. Amazing specials, Outstanding live bands... Place is remodeled with great new owners, so old reviews 2 or more years old are out of date. Been there several times and the live music has top notch bands with great audio quality. I suggest going there once on a special night and once during live entertainment. -Michael C.

The Windbreak was much better than I expected. Completely redone since the last time Id visited and the clientele and staff was much better as well. Absolutely loved the band that was playing and the environment was really fun. Id recommend it to anyone living in Fargo or visiting to check it out.

Rude staff. Ask a few questions and they get an attitude, ask for a drink. They dont know what it is because they want to serve you something different. After arguing about a hurricane I didnt want they drink. Felt like they would of done something to it

Customer is never right. Dont even know how to make a Colorado bulldog and when you try to tell them they argue and show you the door. Never going to that bar again, Shotgun Sallies has them beaten hands down.

Im an otr driver and i always love finding a nice place to have a beer at the end of the day. Parked at the flying j next door and walked over (5ft) to have a draft, really noce place.

Bring cash because theres a cover charge. $3 Sundays. 1/2 price drinks after 9pm. Good band. Good bartenders. Separate smoking area inside. Pool tables, darts, casino games
