WELL LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS PLACE WE WERE TOLD THAT VENUE WAS HELD FOR US FOR JULY 4TH OF NEXT YEAR NO ONE ELSE WAS LOOKING AT IT SO WE WERE GOING BACK AND FORTH ON THE QOUTE WHICH WE HAD TO WAIT FOR HER TO COME BACK FROM ONE OF HER MANY TRIPS SHE DOESNT RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO BEG SOMEONE TO CALL YOU BACK I HAVE EMAILS AND TEXTS TO CONFIRM EVERYTHING WELL FINALLY WE AGREED ON THE QOUTE THAT BOTH PARTIES AGREED ON AND TOLD THE ASSISTANT ONE OF SHERRIE MANY HELPERS THAT WE WOULD BE SENDING THE DEPOSIT THAT WEEK AND I RECEIVED A CALL FROM SHERRIE HER SELF THAT SAME NIGHT TO INFORM ME SHE HAD TAKEN A DEPOSIT FOR THAT SAME DAY AND SHE WAS SORRY KEEP IN MIND WE WERE PROMISE WE HAD IT FIRST NEVER ONCE TOLD THE OTHER COUPLE SOMEONE ELSE WAS DECIDING ON IT ASWELL SHE STATES THAT SHE IS ABOUT HELPING THE COUPLE OUT AND NOT IN IT FOR THE MONEY...BUT GUESS WHAT SHE IS OR IF SHE WAS NOT SHE WOULD HAD CALLED TO LET US KNOW SOMEONE HAD A CHECK READY IF WE DID NOT WANT IT...WAY TO GO SHERRIE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT ETHICAL AT ALL!!!!! THIS IS ONE BRIDE THAT WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!

!!!! ROBO TOTAL !!!! En una boda reciente tuvimos la PEOR EXPERIENCIA en #CasaMariposa. La dueña y disque "empresaria" Sherrie es una RATERA,ABUSIVA,GROSERA,APROVECHADA, Por favor chequen muy bien otras opciones antes de ir a regale su dinero. Salió con gastos extras y durante la boda estaba baile y baile y guardando demasiada comida para llevar. Los cuartos no estaban limpios. Estuvieron llenos de hormigas y largartijas. Una amiga hico ojarascas para las mesas y NO LAS PUSO. Por favor no vayan aquí, fue un robo completo

I recently had a small (95) wedding at Casa Mariposa and had a great experience. I was able to plan everything within 6 months and a $13,500 budget. This budget included catering, decor, accommodations for 8 guests plus a bridal suite, cake, music, flowers, bar service, and set up. This also included help from their awesome staff. Sherrie and Bailey were very easy to work with and always had great ideas to help with our inspiration. They even went as far to rescue us from a flower emergency; if it wasnt for Bailey, our whole wedding party would have been flowerless during our ceremony! Our wedding was fun to plan and fun to experience. I definitely recommend this little gem.

We just go married on memorial day weekend and everyone of our guests were in love with the venue. They were surprised to find a venue like this in South Padre and loved the Mexican hacienda style. The place is gorgeous, they have decor packages for any kind of wedding theme, their planning team was also very accessible and we are also very pleased with the vendors they recommended for our event. We had taquiza for our dinner and people kept asking if they could get seconds. We also had our photo session there and having the villa next door for family to stay there was a huge plus.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in May at this beautiful venue. All of our guests were in awe of the architecture and the bold colors as a backdrop to our celebration. The decoration was incredible and exactly what we had asked for. We chose the taquiza option for the food and it was probably one of the top compliments of the night. My husband and I are incredibly grateful, and eternally in love with this venue, and hope to return for another celebration as soon as life permits. Thank you again to the Casa Mariposa team. Celebrated my Wedding at Casa Mariposa this August, it was the best choice i could have ever made. Great people! they helped me out with anything and everything i needed no matter what it was. They did an excellent job at giving me what i wanted on my special day. The location is absolutely beautiful. Had i not already booked a place to stay while i was there i would have stayed at their villas because of how lovely they were. I would highly recommend this location to anybody!!

The Casa Mariposa is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue in the heart of SPI. The bold colors and unique touches of art and rustic wood make for AMAZING picture backdrops. The staff & recommended vendors are extremely helpful & friendly. We highly recommend The Casa Mariposa for any wedding or event!!
