The first time I visited the, Throne Theater was recently for The Dillinger Escape Plan. DEP is one of my favorite bands and I have been seeing them live for 16 years. The band recently announced that they would be parting ways after their recently released final album, so this would most likely be the last time I would see one of their shows. Needless to say, this was a very important show for me and as a venue, The Throne Theater did not disappoint. There was no wait to get in the doors, although I did have to relinquish my pocketknife when I presented tix for myself and 2 friends. Not a big deal and I understand the reasoning. They were very nice, labeled my knife and told me I coul;d pick it up after the show(more on this later). As we entered the club, the downstairs bar was very accessible, and the bartenders were friendly and skilled. As we got our drinks, we made our way upstairs to the balcony area and had a perfect view of the main stage.. Im too old to get in the mix on the ground floor, if I dont have to, haha. Well to cut an already long story a little shorter, the show was incredible, one of the best Ive seen. The sound system was great and all of the things you expect from a great Dillinger show, such as sound, lighting, and effects were on point. Closing our tab at the top floor bar was easy and they combined our tabs from downstairs as well, which was very convenient. We all left the show, later that night and couldnt stop talking about what a great time we had. The next morning at the hotel(I live in Durham), I realized that I had completely forgotten to pick up my knife from the front. It being a Sunday morning, I knew the club would be closed and I had to get back home. I was pretty bummed b/c it was a very nice knife. I had pretty much written it off and decided the next day to give the Throne a call and see if there was any way possible they could mail me my knife. To my surprise, not only did someone quickly answer the phone on a Monday morning, they told me that they would mail me my knife, at cost to them, and were genuinely pleased that my friends and I had such a good time. I received my knife 4 days later with a Throne Theater sticker. This place really cares about its customers and their show-going experience, if I could give 6 stars I would.

I had a wonderful experience attending the official Grizmas in July after-parties on Friday, July 21st and Saturday, July 22nd. The staff was incredibly hospitable (Im currently suffering from shoulder and knee injuries) and the venue was a perfect setting for such events. As someone who works in the event productions industry, I give it my highest vote, would absolutely attend an event there again, and highly recommend The Blue Eyed Muse to anyone looking to host or go to a fun party. What a waster of time and money. Went to a Puddle of Mud concert there where the lead singer was not on time for the show. They waited to make the announcement at 11:45 after fans had been waiting for hours spending their money on drinks. Most folks left after the announcement but this place had already made their money. Hopefully this review keeps others from wasting their time and money.

Great place to see a concert! The Throne Theater is making an incredible effort to improve the concert experience for the paying customer. I was able to speak to the staff who were very open to questions, and any request customers had the night I attended the Through The Roots show. The staff was energetic, positive, and busted their butts to serve every customer.

Ive been to a couple of shows since the last ownership/name change and the place was not even half full. There doesnt seem to be much going on except that magic show these days. I was hoping for more and better shows. Oh well.

The staff was amazing. Grae was super in the days before the show, ensuring we were set up for a great time. The wait staff in the balcony was on point and did an awesome job. I wish we had a venue like this closer to home.

Ive seen three amazing shows here. Staff is super friendly, security is able bodied and holding down the chaos without being ****s. Wish there was a venue like this where and when I was growing up.

Saw Against Me! play here and fell in love with the venue, the acoustics were amazing, the crowd was energetic, and the stage was low enough to the floor it was a very intimate feel from the band

The new sound system, management, bartenders, and staff are a huge upgrade from its previous "throne theater / Ziggies" days. Looking forward to several upcoming shows.

Went to see Randy and Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys. Great atmosphere but needs seats. Some people dont like standing during comedy shows.

Visited for Delta Rae and its a great venue for the price. I paid for balcony and just wow it makes you feel vip for like $8 more. Lol
