If I could review solely the venue and the food, I would give the country club 5 stars. It is absolutely beautiful. However, this review includes the staff that was supposed to help with coordinating our wedding in May. Leading up to the event Morgan and Travis were very helpful. However, when it came to the actual rehearsal and wedding, they were nowhere to be found. In the middle of our rehearsal out on the lawn, a dog show (that nobody ever mentioned) was taking place, not to mention the dogs were peeing in front of our bridal party all over the bushes. When I asked Travis about the golf carts we were promised for the rehearsal, he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. On the actual wedding day, I did not see or hear from either Travis or Morgan until 2 hours prior to the wedding which created nothing but unnecessary stress. When I confronted Travis about this, he got sassy and told us we needed to "chill out". Its sad that the cooks and the golf shop did more for us on our wedding day than the actual coordinators themselves. When discussing what had happened with the GM, she acted like she could care less and basically blew me off. Overall, our wedding day was beautiful and we had the best day of our lives. But, if you are looking to have reduced stress on the day of your wedding, find someone else to help coordinate things, because their staff clearly only knows how to set up the dinner part of the wedding, rather than focusing on the entire wedding planning process as a whole.
