By far and away the best greens I have played in the state of North Carolina. In fact, they might be the best greens I have ever played. Their Championship Bermuda greens are fast and true. Even after a day of top dressing, the greens were in perfect shape. This is an old school Donald Ross design that doesnt read very long on the scorecard but plays longer with several approach shots that are severely uphill. Remember to play a club or two more when hitting uphill. The sand in the bunkers is amazing, the course layout is fabulous and the fairways are impeccable. I would play this course several times a week if I had the opportunity. If you can play any private country club in the Triangle make certain it is Hope Valley Country Club.

I recently had my wedding at Hope Valley Country Club which was directed by Kelly and Ashley, the event coordinators. From the very beginning, these ladies were professional and willing to accommodate every request. They made the entire planning process so pleasant and the day-of coordination stress-free for me and my family. The food served was the best Ive ever had at a large event. We continue to get multiple compliments from our guests about the beautiful venue and food. I would highly, highly recommend using Hope Valley Country Club for any event.

Love the golf course and the golf staff but the club is poorly run. Every year we had assessments as the management does not run the club fiscally responsibly. We moved out of state and we got a bill for $300 - 18 months after we officially left the club. I have no idea why but now they have a collection agency hounding us and threatening us that they will ruin our credit rating.

Cant rate it, really. They wont accept my reservation because we are not members. As a host site for the USTA tennis tournament, you would think they would welcome the business. Sucks for them. I am bringing my team of 10 people to go have lunch somewhere else.

We were here food a wedding reception. The food in mass was real good, grazing foods were good, drinks flowed and tasted good. The staff was pleasant and helpful, parking was sufficient for 150.

It is always a privilege to play this Donald Ross design. From outstanding service to a well-maintained facility all around (golf, tennis, pool, restaurant) it is clearly top shelf all the way.
