Carolina Country Club is in very poor condition in the summer of 2017. I had the opportunity to play in late June and the greens were in terrible shape. In fact, I have never seen Championship Bermuda this bad. As one of the most prestigious country clubs in not only Raleigh, but all of North Carolina it is unacceptable to see the course in the condition it is in. The overall layout is unique in that there are some longer par 3s and shorter par 4s. I can say the layout isnt bad but when you are hitting onto greens that are eaten up with a "disease" it is hard to get enthusiastic about playing the shot. If given the choice, I would consider several other private country clubs to play. In the summer of 2017 Hope Valley and Governors Club are in much better condition. Hopefully the greens improve at Carolina Country Club because it is sad to see such an amazing course playing to such low standards.

CCC is a great place for meetings. The staff are great to work with, the meeting rooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious!
