Been going there for over 30 years. Great affordable music, sometimes local bands, occasionally national acts and legends who youll never see as up close and personal anywhere else. A GW Village kind of place in a quaint town where you dont have to go into NYC and pay City prices. It holds under 70 people, and youre packed in tight. As for the food and drink: ok beers, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Ive paid a lot more for a lot worse. If youre there for a 5 star meal, youre missing the point.
Fantastic owner (John) and staff, great intimate live music room founded and kept alive 40+ years, focused on keeping a great music room alive when weve lost so many... One of my favorite places to play on tour.
Look, its small, old, quaint. Never ate anything there, probably never will. Ive been going there for as long as its been open. If you dig good music in an intimate setting, this is it. Peace out.✌
Great spot for live music, small room great sound. Staff has been at it forever and it shows. Friendly service great vibe.
AVERAGE FOOD WITH THE GREATEST BLUES, FOLK AND JAZZ BELOW AT THE TURNING POINT CAFE
