Where to start, firstly, we thought we booked 18 holes but actually wed booked just 9, when we arrived with plenty of time before our tee time we couldve opted for the 18 as we had 3 hours before the turn, the guy wasnt interested at all. I also mentioned that Id tried calling several times the previous day at around 4:30 and whoever was working kept hanging up, couldnt care less. When we booked in with the starter, he didnt have a clue what was going on, had no control, people were jumping in front of other groups and taking golf carts out of turn, something that couldve been avoided had he not kept wandering off! When we finally got on the course, it wasnt bad at all, its a pretty location, well kept greens etc and a good variety of play. Its a shame the staff seem to have lost interest, cant cope with a busy period, this place has so much potential otherwise.

Played this course for the first time today. We found the course to be in great condition (especially for mid-September). The tee boxes and fairways were pristine. The greens had recently been aerated (which we probably should have been told when we booked the tee time), but the small holes didnt affect our putts too much. In general, the course layout is very fair. We found it to be challenging (from the tips), but not too hard. Lots of interesting, varied holes. The price seemed a bit high (we walked), but it doesnt seem to be too much higher than anything else in the area. The course doesnt have a ton of water available to drink, just a few centrally located water fountains. A cooler or two would have been nice.

I play here from time to time and played here 05/06/2013. The course has recovered nicely from SS Sandy. The fariways are good and the greens quite acceptable. It is well worth the mid-week price. The staff took special care in getting a new shaft for my driver.

I play this course regularly. It is always in perfect condition. The driving range is great, one of the only places still around with a grass range. The food in the restaurant is defiantly worth staying for as well as the wonderful staff.

This course is a gem....Dont have the time for 18? Try the Sand Piper 9 hole, it is a great course with challenging holes, superb greens and clean bunkers. Well tended course, one of the best public plays on Long Island.

Course is awful just went there the other day. The staff is so rude, and I will never return to this place again. Also for the money this course is a rip off.
