Checked this out for the first time today. Incredible park! Very scenic and surprisingly close to the metro area. My two small children were thrilled with the amount of wildlife we saw and the trails were well laid out and easily walkable. There were many programs and tours in progress while we were there, I loved seeing so much activity to support the "wilderness". We cant wait to go back.

A true hidden gem, with a variety of flora and fauna, some acres of rare and precious old-growth forest, and plenty of ponds and wetlands. Even though its surrounded by suburbs, you feel as if youre miles away from human development. Great programs and events, too!

Moved into the area recently and fell in love. This place is awesome sauce! My baby is too small but once hes older I can wait to send him to the educational center during the summer! Those kids look like theyre having a blast!

A hidden gem in our town. I opted for Stigelmeier park for years ignoring this place right up the street. The nature trails are great and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Bonus points for their events too!

Its an urban habitat that amazes me whenever I go there. I would strongly suggest allowing leased dogs. I miss my dog when walking the great trails. Love nature and all its glory.

My family and I had a very nice short hike here (could have been longer, but that was our fault, not the parks). Trails were well maintained, and easy to navigate. Great time!

Favorite place to go in the area to see wildlife and take a peaceful walk. Scenery is fantastic especially in the fall. Very picturesque. Love it here!

Lots of places to see deer birds hawks foxes Bever muskrats and so much more .Great place to walk, handicap ready, restrooms visitor center

I love this place!!! There are many trails to walk and encounters with wildlife possible, including deer, beaver and birds.

Looks like it could be a nice trail but not allowed to bring your dogs. Dont waste your time.
