So Im using this forum to vent my frustration on what was supposed to be a walk down memory lane. I attended the I love the 90s event on July 30th 2016. I came prepared to dance the night away to some of my favorite 90s tunes, however, I was utterly disappointed. The usual entrance fee is 20 dollars, but because it was a special event we had to pay 30, thats okay since I was going to hear a selection of music from an era that is seldom played in the clubs. I got there at 2:30 am and waited for almost 1hour and 45min to hear an actual song from the 90s. Im not sure if Massive B and has any idea what songs are actually 90s song, but he seemed to skirt around the whole decade. Finally at 3:45am he announced to my horror that "since its a I love the 90s event Im going to play 10 minutes of 90s music and then go on to the new stuff" I was floored..like I specifically came to mingles on this night to hear music that was supposed to be from the themed advertised...Not hear the DJ tell me he is going to play some selection and move on..like that was the reason I paid my money...He of course went on to play songs that I hear everytime I go to mingles...I think the owner need to look into this matter. How can you charge for and advertise a particular theme, then have the Dj not honor it..Needless to say, its going to be awhile before I spend my money at mingles..#false advertising

Had a babyshower for my daughter a couple weeks ago. When I got there to setup they were cleaning from the night before the floor was so sticky my shoes kept coming off! I was late to set up and because of them while guest were showing up, Soooo embarrassing! The staff was so unfriendly and really acted like they didnt want to be there it was terrible. Several guests came to ask to rent the place and I had to tell them not to. This was the worst venue and will never rent it again!!!!

Got there around 2 am. Floor was so dirty and sticky that I got gum stuck to my shoe! Also saw a beer bottle on the floor where crowd of people were dancing . Dangerous. The bartenders are also very slow and music is toooo loud. My ears were still ringing the next day. And they need to enforce a real dress code. Women in there with jeans and t shirts is no good.

Went there on a Friday night. The drinks were great. The service was horrible. No one made us aware that there was a "minimum" when sitting at a table. Our waitress never came to the table so we had to go to the bar to get our drinks. Then the hostess told us to leave because we didnt meet the minimum. However we spent a lot of money on drinks.

My experience is always the same at mingles but Saturday night when they had the Tiger appearance...I had to get a sandal from my car and I ran out there without my jacket because the hassle to check it again for $3 and the security would not let me stand inside out of the colddddddd was so crazy...dont think I will be going back there ...

Called about pricing for the night and when I got to the door they charged me a different price. I ordered a drink and asked the bartender to make it stronger they gave me back the same drink after holding it behind the bar for a while. The wait staff was not pleasant or courteous. I will not be returning.

Love the food and the inexpensive prices. The rasta pasta is to die for, just saying. Went there on a Friday for their comedy night, me and my girlfriends had so much fun. The after party wasnt too bad either, we ended staying most of the night. Would definitely go again.

The worst. I will NEVER go back. The music was so loud I felt like my ears were bleeding. And the humans in there looked homeless. I understand no dress code, but that doesnt mean dont wash!! Eeewwwkkk. Never ever again.

No bueno... gor kicked out bc i didnt want to buy a girll a drink idk what she told the bouncers but that eas crazy i spent money on several drinks and couldnt even drink them and they didnt want to give me a refund

The food is excellent. Especially the Rasta Pasta with Jerk Chicken. The ladies that work there are beautiful and friendly. I like karaoke. Thursday karaoke was is so much fun. I will be going again.

Good bar/lounge for night life. Grown and sexy folk and lots of free parking! The Bronx is garbage but Mingles is pretty nice for a Bronx venue honestly, actually the best in the area.
