We had Mothers Day brunch at the hotel. Although they do have guest rooms, this is not your typical, stodgy hotel. The atmosphere was fresh and a good, hipster mix of casual and upscale without being stuffy or formal. My bloody Mary was not my favorite, but the food was delicious. My husband and I ordered the Croque Madame. The wait did I form us that it was not your standard Croque Madame and was served with a puff pastry instead. It was actually nothing like a Croque Madame, but it was tasty. My mothers ordered the s Asparagus which. While the crust was delicious, the full g was somewhat tasteless. Both dishes came with a micro green salad that they may want to rethink. The micro greens were too spindly and in need of acid.

Edit: I see theyve changed their menu around. Adding a star and will re-evaluate next time I get a chance to eat there. Drinks were great, the environment was great, service was fantastic but the menu is incredibly difficult to order from. Its basically a list of adventurous flavors that youre unsure really go together, and youll pay $25 to find out. I was the only one that enjoyed my dessert. Their heart is in the right place, and on a street that has a few restaurants their menu has to distinguish itself so I understand why its a bit out there. Id argue that it has the chance to be a location that offers an experience that youd find in NYC, but the menu has to reflect that.

We ordered three Manhattans and a desert. The staff was friendly and the drinks were very well made. The desert was pretty good, but the portion was a little small for the price. Theres an entire back dining room that you cant see from the street. Ive walked by a few times thinking they were packed and didnt go in because I didnt know about the other dining room. Overall, a very nice night out. The hotel rooms arent finished yet but if it is anything aesthetically like the restaurant, they will be beautiful.

Buen hotel en el pueblo de Beacon. Peculiar que no tienen recepción ni elevador, pero el servicio fue muy amable. Perfecto para pasar un fin de semana lejos de la ciudad. Excelente ubicación, justo en el centro del pueblo.

Went for Mothers Day brunch. The decor is nice but there are no soft surfaces so you basically have to yell to be heard. The food was okay. I ordered the Croque Madame and although the waiter explained they do it in a deconstructed fashion, it is not even close to one. It is basically a ham roll (very good) with an egg on the side (albeit a very good egg). No bechamel or cheese was found. Also the greens on the side need some sort of dressing.

El hotel es muy lindo y tiene instalaciones bastante nuevas. Lo único que me pareció extraño fue la falta de un mostrador de recepción. En cambio la entrada al hotel es a través del restaurante/bar propiedad del mismo.

Very cool atmosphere, nice staff, but what you get for your $$$$ is out right insulting. Ordered a calamari appetizer$15 and the Duck main dish $28. The Duck had 3 small pieces of meat that were not tender. As for the calamari the flavor was lacking and the portion was a joke. As for flavor the whole meal was lacking. Left me feeling insulted that I should have to pay so much for so little.

Great, courteous service and food was exceptional. Get the hush puppies and the smash burger. Burger comes with homemade BBQ chips. Amazing! If you like salads, get the farmers salad. Probably the most beautiful salad I have ever eaten. And I believe we eat with our eyes first.
