Beautiful place for easy hikes and walking paths. Pretty much everything loops around and you wont get lost too easy here. Its kind of a Hidden Gem. Me and my girlfriend were following Google Maps somewhere and it brought us into some type of gated community called Oakwood and eventually we saw this park and it was actually really crowded for a gloomy Saturday.

A relatively large natural area in a relatively quiet suburban area near New York City. A variety of plants (natural growth) and animals live hers, with trails cut throughout for an an enjoyable walk. Not worth going to New Jersey for, unless you are already there. But, if you live there or are nearby, a worthwhile resource.

Excellent small nature preserve with about 4-5 miles of hiking trails. Great for all seasons. Trails are well-marked. On weekends parking lot can get a bit full as its small. This is a gem for nature lovers and those looking for clear, well-maintained hiking trails.

If you like in Hoboken or Jersey City and dontwant to drive too far to go for a hike this is the place to go. They have 3-4 trails that are between 0.5 to 1 mile range.
