Would give no stars if I could, this place is gross. When we were walking up, the parking lot smelled like marijuana and there was a girl throwing up in the grass. Once upstairs (which was at 30% capacity on a Saturday) the bartender charged me a different price for the same drink every time. The upstairs bathroom was smaller than most diners and smelled like a sewer. The downstairs had a band playing but there was only 2 wasted couples dancing. My girlfriend got groped while walking to the dance floor and when we looked at the bouncers (who were watching the entire time) they shrugged their shoulders like they couldnt do anything. On the dance floor, we got pushed all night by drunk people (trust me it was not packed) while we were in a secluded corner trying to dance. At the end of the night while we were leaving, there was 3 different groups of people yelling and trying to start fights with each other outside. If you are into sleazy establishments, then Vera is your calling. Edit: This place tries to be upscale but their patrons are all either little college kids on drugs or from the gang signs being thrown up on the dance floor... Gang members.

I agree with Lilly. As a male I would prefer not to so see women dress this way as hostesses. It honestly made me uncomfortable too. I felt like I had walk into a strip club. Maybe just tone it down a bit. The ladies were pleasant and polite. Many of the "regulars" will be former club goers from the Coastline and former Top Dog. I would think that most of them are looking for a friendly, welcoming, familiar, and low key atmosphere. I like the music and also DJ Robbie Rob. There was a nice mix of old school and new school music. The bartenders in general where slow to get drinks out and rude honestly. I waited almost 15 minutes for a drink at 10 pm while the bar clearly was not crowded. Once I got my drink the bartender did not say thank you or ask what else I might want. Im not a massive fan of a $15 dollar cover but that is about average. So long as the music and atomosphere is right its fine. It was great to so familiar faces and see new people as well. All in all, I think it will be a great place to go dancing and socialize in South Jersey. .

Take my advice and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Got there at 10:30pm and left at 12am because this place is terrible! $10 cover for ridicilous music and water downed drinks. DJ was playing Will Smith Fresh Price of Bel Air and the Thong Song! Are you kidding me??? The girls they have working there I guess as bottle service hostesses are completely ignorant. Some guy who was there for his friends bday told me they didnt even know how to make some drinks. This place is trying to be upscale but it certainly is not. I was bumped into 3 times by a guy who was so rude. Didnt even apologize... I come to find out, he is the manager!!!! Save your time and your money and go someplace else. No where to sit, old people everywhere, hostesses who cant dance, cant pour drinks and look like fools, and of course the creepers...That is all you will find here. Maybe the next people to take over will know a thing or two about quality nightlife and how desperately we need it in South Jersey.

My name is Lily---a long time goer of the unforgetable Coastline, which unfortunately to many of us, had to close. I am ready to make new memories with THE new Vera club, We welcome you. There are a couple of hints i would like to make. Friday night , there were roomers of a $15 cover charge, THAT WAS NOT FAVORABLE AMONG MANY OF US. ALSO: , THERE WERE MANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS AMONG US WOMAN , TO DO WITH THE YOUNG LADIES WHO DANCED PRACTICALLY NUDE,it was found disrespectful,and offensive.This club does not call for that. Hopefully, these hints will help make it in to a TOTALLY DESIRABLE PLACE TO COME TO Do GREAT DANCING AND LISTEN to GOOD MUSIC. " HEAR IS TO ANOTHER 30 years :)"

Plenty of open space. Nice ambience! Outside deck which should really be nice in sometime. They allow cigar smoking take it or leave it. People are cool and real. Food and service are good. Music is always good. Food I like; Calamari, Cobb salad, wings and banging Shrimp! Latin club plays a variety of music. Downstairs bar is nice. Bartenders are good. Drinks are city prices and have decent pours. Been there on Friday its really crowded both levels. They have cover in night club and sometimes downstairs for live band. Downstairs it seemed to be an older crowd. I like Sunday which has a nice chill crowd and banging music. Food is always good.

My fiance and I decided to book a VIP section to celebrate NYE and bring in my birthday/ New Years Day. Their management turned a possible 5 stars into 3! At the time of booking the VIP section, my fiance and I were told that the price for the club box was $450 and would include 2 bottles of liquor, 5 wristbands, and breakfast for 5. The real problem here is not how $450 turned into $800, but instead how we did not receive everything we paid for. FYI for those considering: gratuity ended up being an extra $160 (which was not well deserved), and the club box is literally a "BOX" and costs more than the other VIP sections.

Do not use debit card at this establishment. I was overcharged on drink then was charged for another tables drinks. Had to call then go up there twice to fix the issue when receipt was finally found there was another customers signature on receipt and the time stamp was for 15mins after I left. Was returned some of the money but money was taken out of my account plus the tip which i did not authorized. Was not compensated for the full bill and all the time n gas wasted on an issue that was completely this establishments fault. Will be filing complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Me And my girlfriends went to Veras Bar and Grille on Saturday night to have a good time and a good time is exactly what we had. There was a lot of people there and the dj was playing the best music all night long. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. Although it seemed crowded, the bartenders still made sure to keep up with the crowd and get drinks to us quickly. All of the bartenders were smiling and friendly and seemed to enjoy working. We danced all night and we will be making this our new spot for the weekends! Finally we have a great club to come to in our area.

We did the v.i.p there last week on fri latin night there dj hype man is very annoying praticly talks over every song . The v.i.p gurls will tried to get over our group bye over charging the bill came up too $900 when we ordered two bottles @ $200 each and we had the juice carrafes and a bucket of coronas beers arent that expensive so where did the other charges come from? i understand gratuity and it was V.I.P but come on the females saw a group drinkin havin a good time and though we werent payin attention but we were so watch out for those skimming tactics they use here.
