I attended Four Sisters for the Grape Stomping Event. How disappointed was I!!!! They served food that was not very appetizing. It was edible, but not good. The wine is nice. Now... On to the tour. After sitting around waiting for the magical tour to happen, they lead us to the basement. She gave us some background on the fermentation process. Oh wee, how exciting! Not exactly the tour of the vineyard I expected. Finally, it was time to stomp some grapes. She began to pour a bag of grapes into a half barrel and said who goes first!!!! WHAT???? They have one barrel, for 20+ people. No sanitizing, no washing, just a barrel!!! I could not believe it! We didnt get to tour the grounds. It was really into a room to eat, sip some wine, into the basement and a barrel of grapes. I was so very disappointed. You can purchase wine, however skip the events!

The Four Sisters Winery had their annual Apple Wines & Music Festival this weekend, 9/28/13. Lets be honest here. Their wine is far from good, at best its just a notch above what you drank as a teenager. The entrance fee for the wine and hayride was $12 per person. The tasting was a tiny plastic cup like you get on your cough medicine bottle - filled half way. Seriously that was for $12. per person. One women described it as a "wine drop". The hayride brings you to a virtually empty apple orchard. Cost $20. per bag. Although they claim to have 5 or 6 varieties, we found only one. Most of those apples were scarred, damaged or diseases. We have been to several apples orchards around NJ. There really are some great ones. Unfortunately, Four Sisters Winery is a BIG WAS OF TIME AND MONEY. Enjoy your day elsewhere.

I was surprised after reading all the bad reviews. It actually was OK, and there were a number of wines I really liked. When we went, it wasnt busy at all, since we went at the end of the day, when there were no special events, and I didnt get the food. Just swung in to taste the wines. Anyway, they had good variation of tastes. It wasnt hot outside, so we spent a bit of time on their deck. I could see how it could get a bit crazy there if there were a lot of people, since they looked understaffed for a major day like a Saturday, given their physical space. Typically, NJ wines are not much to write home about; there is just something in the water or soil that I dont like. But there were some good ones, and I went away with a half-case. Some nice summer wines.

Pig Roast (Fathers Day) 6-15-14 Suggestions: 1. Have two buffet stations rather than one. 2. Have two wine tasting tables rather than one. 3. Have buffet stations, tables, and over all area decorated for the event. 4. Have guests serve themselves rather than staff. The portions given out were too small. 5. Have more beverages than water and ice tea as drinks. The ice tea was too sweet. 6. Have outdoor/lawn games available. 7. Have photographer to take pictures for purchase. 8. Have the chef wear gloves when pulling the pork from the pig. 9. Have a tarp above the pig roasting so the pig does not sit in the sun.

Here for Mothers Day brunch. Said would open buffet at 1pm but with over two hundred people a tiny one line for the food, called by table when they remembered, we did not begin to eat for quite some time. This was also a problem because the wine tasting began at noon. Then they were concerned about running out of food so they cut the food into tiny pieces and served one piece of each. Just as well because the food was terrible. The event was scheduled until 4pm but by 2pm, half the folks had left. Never never go there.

Was here for a wine tasting with a bachelorette party. Is a simple place and honestly, Im not a fan of the style of wine but we were all bouncy and in a good mood. I dont know if the guy was in a bad mood or what but his was just miserable. We kept asking him about the wines and he would answer with one or a few words. He didnt smile and he seemed terribly inconvienced we were even there. Luckily we were all having a great time and didnt let his personality ruin our night. I wouldnt suggest this place in any way.

I was there for a wedding. Food was horrible. It was really hot and humid out and they had even hotter bathrooms and a hot main tent with one old fan blowing hot air. No atmosphere. The woman running it wasnt overly friendly and didnt seem to know how to run things. Tents were set way to far apart so you had to walk in the heat with a lot of bugs and bees. Even the chairs were cheap plastic and not comfortable. I cant recomend this place and would not come back. Again the food was really bad.

We only live a few miles from Four Sisters and decided to try out there wine. As soon as we arrived we did a casual tour that lasted about 15 min. And then we went to the back deck and tried some wine. They have many varieties from dry-sweet. Then we relaxed at a table with a couple glasses of wine and some food. There was also live music. We had a very nice relaxing afternoon and everyone was very nice and helpful with recommending wines.

Mothers day brunch...I dont mind paying more for good food and a decent serving size. However, $35 per adult and $16 per child for one piece of bacon, one small blueberry pancake, one 1" square burnt egg casserole is absurd. The lines for food were very long, and when i asked for a second piece of bacon, I was told that there was a limit of one per person for all of the foods.

We went there on a whim and were immediately greeted when we walked in. They offered us a wine tasting or a tour. We opted for the wine tasting. The place was simple but nice. The tasting was fun. The girl was very knowledgeable of the wines and styles. We ended up buying 2 bottles after our free tasting. not a bad way to spend a half hour.

Wines are mediocre at best. Went to their "fall festival" what a joke!!! They didnt have 2 of the wines that I was interested in. Was told I could go to the winery to taste. Walked in and the girl was extremely rude!! Oh well missed out a few hundred dollar sale. Hope your attitude was worth it. Would never waste my time again!!

Delicious wine, and in one of the nicest towns in New Jersey. The employees there are really nice and helpful. The day we were there the deck was open with food, and live entertainment. Highly recommend the wine, and visiting the winery.

Love the wine, but cant find it in stores anymore. You call them to find out what stores they sell it in and those stores dont sell it. The people on the phone to tell you the stores are getting less and less friendly.

I was greeted with a welcoming smile as well as an extraordinary knowledge of the wines they offer. I highly recommend this winery to anyone who is looking for a family friendly atmosphere at an affordable price.
